Quick to get started and very small
The product has turned out to be exactly as described and so tiny! The over the air update of firmware and OS install are quite an impressive experience. The Ubuntu distribution is great out of the box, I have not tried other Linux flavors, expecting there may be device driver items to address, but the out of the box to up and running was quite good.As with any quick-start Linux distribution, there are items to address security wise, such as the default account / password, turning on the Firewall, creating a non-Admin user for your Day to Day work, but for the target audience of a Maker, your up and going without the need for an external PC or Laptop.

Second board that failed
This is the second board that has issues this one at least lasted a couple months but seems there is some quality issues with them for the cost I’d recommend a cheaper board like the nano.

It's not ready for android yet! Will it be? If so, LOOK OUT!
Speed is incredible compared to the nvidia shield or any other android box/sbc, but that's where it ends. No Dolby Vision. HDR is horrible! Very Buggy! For age verification games like real racing 3, you need a touch screen to enter your credentials. The functionality of this item is incredible. Altough a bit pricey, this device would pair perfectly with a touch screen. I tested it on a regular 1080p HDR monitor. This device can be used for work, gaming and streaming. I only tested it on Android. Button mapping is easy. Editing is a breeze. Digital signage is very easy. I just wish this had Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos with widevine L1. Android is complicated and not desktop or gaming ready. Dex is the closest thing to being desktop ready and for gaming. Android games lack built in controller support. Some people just want an Android device they could plug in, search, stream & listen in the best quality and game without a hitch. Khadas isn't far off with any of their android capable devices. It takes some learing curves to get it to operate on a regular desktop monitor. For some it's worth it or good enough. For me I need something more like Dex. It just works! i say dex because it crushes Nvidia Shield and BlueStacks. The only things you can game ok on. Dex beats them all especially if you have a highend samsung device.

High quality product and Very Responsive Customer Service
Khadas as as a whole has an extensive portfolio of consumer-oriented SBCs that address the needs of a growing niche market. The technical assistance and customer service is excellent, and their attention to detail in their product development is unquestionable.

Snappy and so tiny
Tested android first then installed Ubuntu server 20.04. both installs were easy using oowow. WiFi connection was easy and straightforward too. The connectors for HDMI and USB c for power are pretty close so keep that in mind with cable selection.

This is a BETA product
I got this product to play 8Kp60. On Android 12, this card plays 8K60 but is not stable. I hope they update their Android OS.On Ubuntu, I can decode 8Kp60 but cannot display it, The SW uses Gstreamer, which is OK for me, but the components are glitchy. So it is impossible to design a product yet with this box.I like the passion behind this effort. It is encouraging; I will give a 5 start when the SW allows me to design the product I want to produce.

Be Very Careful Buying From Them
I figured out what was wrong with these guys. They REQUIRE a proprietary 12v 24-30W USB-c power supply. It is not available in the United States. Without the proprietary psu you will not be able to use any add ons. I tried using numerous psu and I cannot get any of the components to power let alone the board. I can get the board powered fine but once I add on any component the board cannot power. I have used psu's that have anywhere from 10W to 100W. It is the board itself must have their psu.I went to their documentation and it is empty. The info in there is barely readable and it skims the topic. So if you want to enable a dt overlay or make the camera or screen work there is no info on it.If you go to their site you will see that they do not separate the components. It is impossible to tell what you can use. The site is really poorly laid out. Again it provides no good information on how to use the board. Raspberry pi, udoo, latte panda are all much better. They include the power supply and have complete docs. well udoo was slim. This board is not a good buy. Stick to a device that you know will work.

Super thin design. Super performance
This board with its heatsink + fan is powerful and compact. I love the integrated OS loader. After testing this board I sold my RK3588S based boards from firefly and SeeYouToo. Those were great boards too. But this one is better in my opinion.
