I'm giving this 5 stars for performance but 2 for handling and installation. Basically this is like Christmas ribbon with no adhesive so if your using this outside to keep birds away it is very hard to deal with and impossible if any breeze at all. we have a 40ft porch with crown molding and the birds are always building nests. I've tried all kinds of stuff and nothing works. Even those bird spikes. The birds just fill up the gaps with straw and sticks and walk all over the spikes. OK, to save you all a lot of frustration here's how to install. Get some double sided tape or those sticky picture hangers. Put the tape up every 3 ft first, then unroll the reflective tape along the tape strips as you go. Very easy this method. The birds are staying away so it works

We have had a problem of birds flying into our windows. Very sad picking dead birds off our deck. We used a small strip of clear packing tape to adhere the reflective tape at top of windows. The tape blows around in the wind . Maybe the light reflecting is helping to deter birds, maybe the movement. So far it seems to work well. Looks good from inside.I used a paint roller to attach the packing tape with reflective tape to a window up approx 15 ft high.

I had woodpeckers pecking at the high windows at the back of my house, so I hung strips of this tape that reflect sunlight and flutter in the breeze. So far this has worked to keep them away, even if it is a little unsightly. This ribbon tape has no adhesive properties, so I secured it in place with double-sided adhesive tape that I also found here on Amazon.

Ducks are beautiful creatures. But they're a bit messy. They have been coming by every day and landing in my pool. I don't want them doing their business in, or around the pool. So every day I go out there and gently shush them away, but they kept coming back after a few hours. This tape worked beautifully. I strung up this tape across my pool and the ducks haven't been back since. There are dozens of lakes and ponds in my area, so I'm sure they're happy wherever they went. The reflective tape was great in making the woodpecker that was making holes in our house go away! The woodpecker issue was the only reason that I purchased the tape so I am satisfied on the tape being reflective and sparkly in the sun.

Thin, lightweight, flaps easily in the breeze and it SPARKLES!! Just what we needed to keep deer away from our garden fence. One roll goes a LONG way!!

I purchased a multi pack of this and it worked great in my fruit trees and around my garden. Unfortunately this year when I tried to use more of it, the reflective part is no longer on the tape. Not sure why, it was kept inside. I would purchase this item again, but probably only buy in small quantities instead of trying to stock up for a couple of years.No complaints on the first year at all!

Good product. Would have preferred a thicker ribbon to make it easier to work with.
