Bought this to replace the existing basic hose that was nearly 30 years old that was so kinky it was obscene and had sprung leaks along its full length. So far this has been a worthwhile purchase and has not kinked once. Strong but still light enough to move around and the 50m length fitted onto my old Hozelock trolley with no issues.

Pricey but you get what you pay for I suppose. Very nice easy to use hoze. 30 year guarentee fills me full of confidence for longevity. Easy to coil up when putting away, doen't crush or kink at all, slightly thicker outside diameter than most other 1/2" hozes which can make attaching the fittings a little more challenging, but not impossible.

I mean, let's not get emotional, it's a hose. It's described by Hoselock as 'robust' and I would echo that. Lightweight it is not. I tend to think 'lightweight' in this context means 'flimsy', anyway. I bought it to replace our old Hozelock hose, which must be at least twenty years old and was full of kinks and leaks. Well, over the years, its length has been substantially reduced where leaking sections have been cut out and, frankly, we'd had enough. The new hose, compared with the old one, is wonderful. I'll be surprised if it ever kinks or leaks and I can't think how it could be improved. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. If you want something which does the job properly without you having to compromise to accommodate its failings, this hose will not disappoint, whereas many cheaper offerings will. Disappoint, that is. I bought a new Hoselock spraygun, which I'll give its own review in a minute, to go with the new hose and replace the two old ones we had which, while doing the job, shared the water with me or the surrounding area and were driving me nuts. The new one is a joy to use, all the water comes out of the nozzles, all of it goes onto the plants and none of it leaks over me. Couldn't be happier.

Bought this to replace a lightweight hozelock version from a few years ago. That one kinked and leaked like it was going out of business after only a couple of years. This one is much more robust, shows no sign of kinking and is smooth, so reqinds really easily.I guess you get what you pay for.

I was wondering paying a bit extra would be worth it. Kinda get what you pay for! However this hose is great, it doesn't kink, or tangle, I like how smooth it is seems to slide better. It fairly light weight. I have a big garden so it gets pulled a lot. To me there is a difference between the cheaper hoses and this kind . Woth paying a bit extra I think.

Appears to conform to the description 'on the tin'. First time to have used this product and to date it does everything as per the info. given. Certainly way better than other similar hoses from this producer at reasonable cost

I've had one of these for years and years and it's still going strong. It's a little harder than the new one I just brought, but it's still flexible and it works perfectly, so I can safely say that this hose definitely stands up to the test of time, so much so that I have just purchased a second one so that I have one out the back and the front.It's very pricey, you certainly can buy much cheaper hoses elsewhere, but I have never found a hose that resists kinds like this one so it's well worth spending the money on, especially given that my old hose is still going strong and I've had it for years. I initially went for one of these because I was fed up with kinks and twists that stop the flow mid use, and I have never looked back, or even thought about purchasing another cheap hose.I would definitely recommend this. You buy cheap, you buy twice. If my old hose (or my new one for that matter) ever decides to kick the bucket, I will update this review, so if there is no update here assume it's going strong! The 30 year guarantee is nice, but I doubt I would ever have to use it given the quality of this hose!
