Q: Can these be painted to blend in with the building?

I really don't know. Since they're plastic you may be able to use a spray paint that works on plastic that contains a primer. I'm just a consumer, so that would be my guess. I often spray paint items. My suggestion would be Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover Spray Paint as it contains a primer and bonds to plastic. Also fairly cheap. I hope this helps :)

Q: Can I add more than two units to mesh as one?

Probably not don't really know. Its designed to transmit the signal to the receiver and you then connect a router that will be its own source . You can expand as much as you want from the router maybe start another bridge.

Q: Do these provide an ssid for wifi access from the master like its predecessor?

The name will show up under your Wi-Fi choices

Q: Can I use on master and two slaves on different locations ?

Hello, yes, of course you can use master bridge on one place, and two slave bridges on different locations. Just notice they need to use face to face with clear line of sight.
