Wow.I have had this thing for over a year now and I am as in love with it as I was the day I first used it.The double batteries make using this a breeze and rarely do I need to swap batteries when I’m vacuuming my entire 1200 sq ft home.The giant canister can hold an entire house worth of grossness and that’s including all of the grime 3 kids cause. No need to constantly clean it out because it’s a big boy.There’s nothing like being cordless and untethered.This was worth every penny.I will agree with other reviewers- it is heavy and will give your arm a good workout.A quality vacuum that has lived up to the hype and I’ve been using it daily (kids amiright?) since July 2023.

This outsize rocks, I've cleaned things with it I never used a vacuum for.Is it expensive? yea, it is. But my last Dyson was an DC17 Animal upright purchased on 2007 and its still running today. If this one is half as good it will serve me for years.I have used it for hours already dusting and getting dust balls and cob webs from super hard to reach areas we couldn't get to with a upright.It cleans up pet hair like a champ.The lighted crevasse tool is brilliant, you can see what you are doing in enclosed areas.The down under tool makes getting under beds and sofas a snap.I bought a replacement wand for it and can reach the molding around the top of our vaulted ceiling.It comes with 2 batteries and 2 chargers.The power heads are awesome with pet and human hair.I like it so much I ordered a V15 for the smaller rooms and over head work.Cons: is 8lbs, that's heavy for what it is and it does not come with the soft roller power head for hardwood floors.

I have been using my Dyson Outsize for a year and a half. I got this model because it has a bigger collection canister. I have a golden retriever and vacuum often. It works great, but I wish I had returned it and gotten a smaller model. I am 5'2" and it is too big and bulky for me. It is very top heavy and difficult to use. If you are a petite person, think carefully before ordering this model.

OMG! This vacuum, puts my old Dyson to shame! The suction power on this vacuum is incredible. I mean seriously, the first time I used it in the house you could see an immediate difference in my carpet. My husband even commented that the carpet felt softer and was noticeably cleaner looking! Since it has smart technology and 3 different suction levels, I decided to try it out on my Turkish rug (that has always been a pain in the butt to vacuum). Well, let me just say this…HOLY SMOKES! It is incredible and cleaned that rug like it was no work at all! Finally, I am able to get all the dog and cat fur out of my carpets and rugs, along with dirt and everything else that my pets, kids, and husband leave/track into the house. This is definitely one of the best decisions I’m made on an expensive purchase! So other things I love about it: noise level is pretty low, the storage tank capacity it a really good size, all the different attachments it comes with, the smart sensor, the ability to change strength on it for suction power, the no hassle on a cord (because that was my biggest obstacle in the past), the 2 batteries that seriously last a really long time, the ease of use, the attachment to clean under furniture, and the easy to empty bin. It is a bit on the heavier side, but that’s not a big deal. I do wish there was a way to not have to hold the power button the whole time though, it would be nice to have the option to just have it on. But that is my one and only complaint. I love this vacuum and am so happy I purchased it. Definitely would recommend to anyone who has little kids, pets, or just wants a super deep cleaning vacuum.
