Makes thin accurate lines, it just breaks apart very easily
I am a boilermaker by trade and I ordered this as a way of making thin lines to help with cutting burning metal parts/sheets. The Soapstone arrived in pristine condition not one was broken so the sellers did a great job protecting product during shipping. My problem with this soapstone is its extreme fragility in work conditions I tried several ways to help ensure it would survive but at the end of the day it was turned to powder for the most part. I recommend a thin soapstone holder and used in a shop environment only. It does make thin accurate lines without the need of grinding it to a point like usual soapstone
