Nescafe Dolce Gusto Krups Lumio Automatic Coffee Machine

I bought this for my wife on our 52nd anniversary, for an elderl6couple we needed something that was easy to and keep clean, this proved to be an excellent choice, simple to use, she said it was hotter and more frothy that previous coffee products. I thought that it was reasonably priced for very good item.

Bought as a Christmas gift but early feedback is that it was very well received and makes a good cup of coffee. Easy enough to use as instructions were not included but receiver managed to work it out. Looks great too.

This is my second Dolce Gusto machine the first being a manual Oblo. Decided it was time to get an automatic version. It looks great and has a nice new pod holder design. This model also has the new XL feature for the new Preludio pods. The water tank is smallish but that’s fine for me. Has a nice auto shut off feature after one minute. Although this has some nice features compared to my Oblo, it performs exactly the same with a nice hot drink in very little time at all, in fact it’s quite amazing how fast these machines heat the water up. I’m knocking one star off for the very poor instructions. If you’ve operated one of these before then it’s quite straight forward but for someone who’s not then you might be scratching your head for a few moments. There is absolutely no mention of how to pull out the cup tray to adjust the height for starters or any diagram. The rest of the instructions have little diagrams with arrows but no wording. Also it would have been nice to have a small sample of pods like I had with my Oblo a few years ago. Anyway , it works well and is pleasant to look at that’s the main thing.

This is my second machine the 1st one in black still works and has been my morning friend for five yearsBut updated my kitchen hence the new one my advise get one its perfect for the job

Great machine. Simple to use, easy to clean and compact so doesn't take up too much work space. Great piece of kit for a quick coffee

I have had several Dolce Gusto machines but I prefer this one. The main reason is you can see the water level from the front so don’t run out of water. Cleaning all the little corners of the water catcher and pod tray is still just as fiddly though.As it was reduced it is good value for money.

Amazing coffee, easy to use and hassle free where it’s automatic! Would definitely recommend it, my boyfriend was very happy to receive this gift!

When I first bought this product it would not work: it would not pump the water to the capsule to make the drink. There was no help in the instructions or online. Rightly or wrongly I concluded that the pump needed to be primed first so literally blew water through it to remove any air blockage. This seemed to work and it has been fine since. Drinkscan be expensive to buy but online or Costco are the cheapest suppliers I have found.
