This won’t connect to WiFi , tried everything , bloody headache now. So frustrating , if the manufacturers see this and sort me out I’ll change my review if it works. I did say if things change I’d alter the review. Well it has , took two days of perseverance but got it working ! Great cam really , lots of functions ! Buy if you have the time !!!!!🤣🤣🤣

Unable to connect to iPhone despite following directions. I have given up on it and do not recommend anyone to purchase one.

The camera would not log onto WiFi even when following the instructions.

I like the idea of having a camera in a light socket, no messing about with wires.This one is a E27 socket which we thought would work great with a lamp to monitor the 3D printer.To install it is just twist in and thats it.Well that bit works perfect and it voice prompts to contine.You still have to set it up via the app and connect via your home or office wifi to see and capture the results.We had trouble initially and I gave up after many tries but see below ********************Our socket has a short , non removable shade and the QR code is not accessible when the camera is screwed into the socket.I tried taking the bulb out,scanning it and putting it back in, that bit did seem to recognise the samera but then you have to continue through the App.Following the instructions...To begin with I could not get it to connect.********************Customer service messaged me and gave me some clear instructions and I now get a good connection.This is how I did it following the guidelines.Download App and register(I used email but you can use phone number instead)First make sure positioning is on, on the phone.(can be turned off afterwards)Next make sure the phone is connected to the wifi(we are using 2.5Ghz but it can use 5Ghz)Plug camera in and switched onIn the APPclick add deviceclick smart connectingYou can take you bulb out and scan the code on it now.It pops up the wifi for you to add the wifi passwordput bulb back in.It connects with a dial picture on the app and once connected the voice says connection success.Yay!So inside the app you can adjust the view up,down,roundYou can choose night vision/light/autoThere is an alarm settingHave it track a subjectYou have a Micro SD slot or you can save your stuff to the cloud for a subscriptionTake video on demandTake still photo on demandYou can use a vocal setting both directions(talk to your pet or hear your delivery person's question etc).The audio can be turned offThis seems really very good for a sub £30 security camera.Clear pictures , smooth operation.I do think the included instructions that come with it are letting it down as it was a doddle once I followed the above.

I’ve decided to put this bulb style camera in our garage.My husband uses it as his man shed and it’s full of miniatures and 3D printers and such like so it shouldn’t be left unprotected.This bulb camera is about as easy to install as it gets. Theres no wiring, no drilling and no mardy husband!It takes seconds. Yes, you have to forgo a ceiling light but in our garage we have several so it’s no detriment at all.The SECUEYE app is simple to navigate and easy to set up. It performs well sending instant notifications, and the images are good quality.All the features work well, and they can be customised to suit my needs.The night vision is decent, not grainy, and you have the option of colour and infrared.If you are looking for a very simple install and a budget friendly price I’d give this one a try.I hope you find my review helpful.
