Rust-Oleum AE0080003E8 400ml Multi Textured – Aged Iron

Despite some negative reviews I gave this a try. I had a ‘buddha’ statue in the garden from a well known garden store that the metal effect paint was wearing off after one winter. I rubbed it down briefly with wire wool, and sprayed with this. I followed instructions and inverted to spray after each fine coat, ensuring nozzle kept clear. Several coats needed but each very brief and quick drying. Very nice finish and better than original. Spray a bit pricey and cant talk to durability as too early - but seems perfect.

Product is easy to use and free of smell. I used it to coat flaking garden ornaments, which were originally a textured effect dark grey but had begun to whiten with age and from weather. I achieved a nearly new result and lots of paint left in the can for future touch-ups. Fabulous next day delivery! So pleased as these products seem always out of stock in local stores.

Bought this aged iron spray and it spat liquid out for 3 seconds and the can froze, totally unuseable and still full, it was replaced and Ihad exactly the same outcome so returned for refund. I bought the same again from a different store and that to was the same as others, also return full, not working. =I found a older tin I had used 4 years ago which is the older can with white label and it still sprayed perfectly so it looks like the newers cans are rubbish. Read the reviews on amazon and google before you consider buying this product.There are lots of bad reviews from buyers who have had this problem, a pity as the finish is brilliant if you get a working can.

Quite pricey but does the job. I used multiple cans of the stuff and had no blocking issues. It runs down surprisingly fast though so bite the bullet and get one more than you think you need.

Product is good coverage is not the best order more than you need by one can at least also one can failed had to reorder

Easy to work with, quite thick so use sparingly, nice finish.

Great product, absolutely spot on results. I’ve got a few more things to paint and need to buy another can…Follow the cleaning instructions! I didn’t and it’s now useless (and in the bin).

Should have listened to poor reviews, this did not spray at all, it shot out a jet, so you get a lot in a single spot, had to use a paint brush to spread a bit. Will not buy again
