MagpulDAKA Can Protective Storage Container All-Purpose Hard Shell Sunglasses Travel Case

I should have bought two. This is my favorite way to protect my custom Oakley's. They fit the Half Jacket 2.0 XL and the Gascan. Doesn't scratch the frames or lenses at all. Top is very secure but still easy to open and close. I can throw this in my backpack or in my car and not have to worry about damaging my sunglasses. I am definitely happy with my purchase.

My first set of magpul shades came with this case and I loved it. Unfortunately I was late to catch a flight and forgot my shades and case in the rental car. The shades no longer come with this case so I had to buy another but don't mind too much since I really love this case for travel.

I recently bought a nice pair of oakley holbrook ti's in prescription. The case they came with was nice but ginormous. Also being a clamshell case it didn't feel very secure. This standard size Daka can is just about perfect. There is a bit of extra room but not much. I feel much more comfortable having them in this can.

This thing is great. Aviator sunglasses fit great. I wish they would make these in other sizes for other gear.

Utilize to keep glasses in the vehicle to wear when driving. Perfect container to protect the glasses from scratches, other damage.

It is significantly bigger than most other sunglasses travel cases, but that makes it big enough to fit other accessories like lens cleaning cloths and wipes.

I felt the need to protect my anker 737 from moisture and light water splashes/weather. I saw this case and cross-referenced the measurements. It did not fit out of the box so I had to rip the factory foam out of the can and the lid to make it fit. I lined the interior with the loop side of velcro to cushion the interior and protect the powerbank. I use plenty of magpul products and know of their reliability in their magazines. This can is no exception. It adds some crush and moisture protection to something that shouldn’t be mixed with water. I’m very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone with the 737 powerbank.

Good replacement case for sunglasses if protection is paramount.Works well as edc storage as well.Can't speak on how long the liner material may last though.Seems as though it may degrade and crumble with time.

Happily Fits Classic Oakley M-Frames! (The original style with the hinges, and not the fixed temples). The Interior lining has thankfully been upgraded to a smoother leatherette type material which is soft enough not to scratch, but should also attract less dust and dirt (Previous versions had a soft fabric lining which attracted dust, grit and leaf litter etc. It is a decent product for the price, but could still be further upgraded or improved. For example; A locking lid latch - to prevent unintentional opening in a rucksack packed full of heavy gear. An O-ring sealed lid - for mud or water resistance in very wet conditions, or at the beach. A Heavy duty hinge - for additional confidence if dropped or accidentally stepped on. Also, a strong Carabiner loop - for attaching a lanyard/clip.

I am a man with a large face. These daka cans are tough and hold my giant glasses and big sun glasses. Highly recommend, despite the Amazon cost being twice that of Magpuls own MSRP. Hard to find in Europe. Will order a second one for the car. Cool product.
