This is great!!
Bought this for our new house with massive hedges. It slices though the foliage like a hot knife through butter. Can get through some really quite chunky branches given a bit of time too. But once I am on top of these hedges going to be a brease. Very pleased.

Fantastic bit of Kit!!
Fantastic bit of kit, took no time at all to trim the hedges with this beast. Not too heavy to handle as the larger 5ah battery provides good counter balance…even better when you get it a bit cheaper from the Amazon returns section. Not even a dent on the box when it arrived.

Probably a great product, if you're willing to spend more on the extra parts to be able to use it.
Probably a great product, if you're willing to spend more on the extra parts to be able to use it. I sent mine back without even unsealing the box. Bought it off Amazon for £168, but I should have read the small print more closely because it doesn't come with the battery. Depending on the amp hours of the battery you buy, this will cost of further £100-£150. Then you will also have to buy a charger which can be anything from £70-£150. And all of this If you can work out which battery and charger you actually need.So please be aware to use this product is going to cost you over £300, my personal belief this product is slightly misleading, at the bottom of the box is the word battery, then a small picture next to it of a battery with a line through it they should make it a lot clearer that you can't use this product straight from the box.

Disappointed
I purchased this for my Husband as a present for £169. He opened it on the day to use only to find that this didn’t have a charger or battery pack! For this I would need to spend another £143 which I will not do. Avoid at all costs and purchase straight from Ryobi.

Never even used it!
On arrival I found out it does not come with a battery and charger.Researched and found that I need to spend about £150 extra, so it’s going straight back. I realise I should have noticed this myself but it should be more prominent, when ordering this product. It looks a quality item, but I’ll never know?

Battery
No idea what battery to buy, all RYOBI meant to be the same battery, I have bought two now and had to send them back!
