It certainly adds a stovetop to 120 voltsoff-grid house. I was unable to figure how to get a 1000 watt burner. There were no preset functions to choose from that would accomplish this. Instead, the maximum I could get was 800 watts.It does however look fantastic . It would certainly add a lot of class to your kitchen.

Wider base and high temperature help cooking better!

This product beeps with a loud noise every few hours for no reason and where it's supposed to say hot surface it says h o r instead

I have a butane gas portable burner I use when I cook a hot pot dinner. I have been considering replacing it with an electric portable cook top. This one looked very nice -- and it is but only for certain purposes, I think.The surface is large which is nice to accommodate larger pots and pans. Touch control panel is also clean looking and the response is quick and sensitive. The unit is stable which is important for safety.However, it doesn't heat up super quickly. If you need to cook something that requires boiling or searing, you'll be waiting a while until it heats up to the appropriate temperature. I think I will use it for more gentle cooking recipes. I also think it'd be perfect for keeping something warm at a potluck or something. So, for me, for these purposes, it's a good cooktop.

Arrived well packaged and with fast delivery an excellent 2 burner electric cooktop.Can be fitted or can free standing on the 4 legs included in the box. Can be used anywhere where is a socket, just plug it and you can start your cooking.Heats up very quickly and it's very easy to use and to clean after.Comes with a short UK plug.It has buil-in timer which is very helpful to not overcook your meals.I would highly recommend it.

Description says "suitable for cookware 4.7 - 9 inches" so I asked if the heating surface was actually 9 inches in diameter. The seller replied to question quoting the product description, but 'suitable for..' does not mean the heating surface is actually 9 inches.Well I ordered the product and sure enough, the heating surface is only 8 inches. It is a good product and heats up quickly, but for anyone wondering the actual size of the heating surface, it is only 8 inches in diameter. Not 9 inches.

Good brand

The hob came with clear fitting instructions, but I left this part to a professional. It’s a small hob that’s great if you have a small kitchen, in a flat, granny annexe, etc. As we were getting it installed we were able to get power wired into the kitchen so we could fit it where we wanted to. The design is incredibly stylish and it’s easy to use and wipe clean. The hob has an overheat protection on it which gives some peace of mind.It does however stay hot for a while after cooking, even though it looks like it’s off, so you do have to be careful not to put anything on it and you need to make sure other people in the house know that it might be hot to touch. This is the same as many other hobs of course, as we used to have a gas hob where the metal topper would stay hot after cooking, but I guess I thought that, being electric, perhaps this would still have something that indicated when it was still warm even when not in use.
