Author RS Grey has done it again. I've never read a book that isn't a 5-star read from her. Every book contains leading ladies that you want to be friends and heroes that you swoon over, and Three Strikes and You're Mine is no different. This is a sure-fire hit.Luke (seriously hot btw) is a retired baseball player who is dedicated to raising his daughter. He's a hands-on single dad. This is a trope that I love and RS Grey totally nailed his character with his slight grumpiness with a great big mushy heart.Chloe is in need of a new job and ends up working for Luke. Cue mutual pining, lots of amazing chemistry and the pull between them is insane.Chloe's character is instantly likeable.The supporting cast of characters are also incredibly well-written which is often for me a measure of how good a book is. RS Grey spends time developing all of her characters so that none of them are one-dimensional which can happen occasionally. Loved Harper as Luke's daughter as she was the perfect balance between sweet and a little bit sassy.This book is full of humour, warmth, some heat, and is just so enjoyable to read. I know that I'm going to be going back to it time and time again.An instant top-10 hit for me in 2023

Three Strikes And You're Mine is definitely in my top 3 R.S. Grey reads!I absolutely adore Chloe, Luke and Harper together. They struck the perfect balance between kindness, sass, banter and unexpected love.Chloe starts the book in an incredibly difficult spot, and her personal growth is beautiful to witness. She went from hopeless and broken down to inspirational.Luke begins like many single parents - guilty, overcompensating and closed off. Cold and careful quickly became protective and hopeful.Harper? Well, she was perfect to begin with and ended on the same strong note. Despite a missing mother this little girl is compassionate, kind, incredibly funny and entrepreneurial. A testament to the love and care her father provided her with.Chloe and Luke initially bond over Chloe’s incredible cooking and their mutual love for Harper. What starts out as barely tolerating his new caretaker quickly becomes a pull and push between the two hard heads.I loved watching them individually, but their love story kept pulling me further into the book until I reached the very last page.If you’re looking for a fun and yet intense, hot and romantic read, R.S. Grey is your gal!

R.S Grey is one of my auto buy authors, and this book proves why, it’s full of her signature humour and wit. The characters were fire together, Luke was super hot and Chloe was so sweet and loveable. One of my top 10 books for sure!

I love this author and her books, knowing that I always enjoy them. Three Strikes and You're Mine is by far my favourite. From the beginning to the end, this book has had me giggling and at some points, really unattractively snorting with laughter. It's a feel good romance with a lot of special moments, a hot athlete/single dad and a quirky heroine with a huge heart. I loved it.I loved Chloe and everything about her, she was relatable in the best kind of ways. Luke has become another book boyfriend, no words will do him justice, he's everything.This book is everything that I've needed, and if you need a lighter read, a romcom or just something soo sweet then definitely read this. I can't wait for more from this world.

Chloe and Luke are so so so sweet but Harper is my favourite. There. I said it. She stole this book. She makes me smile so much – and I love the manner in which Chloe is introduced and becomes a part of Harpers life. I love how Luke is in denial mode until he can no longer be in denial mode.Chloe is a sweet soul with spice too – and that definitely makes for a very interesting character. Luke tries in every way to avoid the growing feelings he has for Chloe – but since Harper is on board – he cannot really deny it forever.Their interactions with each other and Harper honestly makes this book that much sweeter. I really enjoyed reading this book and I am so glad that I did. Definitely a book to read for sure. Pick it up, you won’t regret it.
