A good, helpful fidget with a fun, creative twist!
I bought Gnome Home to help with pulling and picking and general sensory processing issues and it has been so helpful. The tin arrived in great condition, in a cute box, and I appreciate that they aren’t plastic. No leakage or sticking, the lid came off slowly the first time but no issues. I accidentally dropped it on a fleece blanket and it doesn’t stick at all, the stretch is good and texture-wise it has a nice firmness and little lumps and bumps from the fimo clay mushrooms and gnomes. I also really enjoyed the search for the six gnomes and was excited when I found them all! I love the little sparkle it has and read their glitter is biodegradable, so that’s a plus too! Overall I’ve found this to be a soothing, successful fidget and look forward to trying different textures from Aaron’s.

So Awesome!
I have over a dozen Crazy Aaron's putties, and this hidden gnome one is definitely one of my favorites. It is so visually appealing and just packed with cool mushrooms and glitter. The texture of all the clay pieces inside while playing with it is just fantastic as well. And like most other Aaron's putties, the pieces inside (including the glitter) stay in the putty; you don't even get any glitter stuck to your hands while playing with it. Also, strangely, mine came smelling exactly like sugar cookies. This isn't marketed as a scented putty, and I noticed some other people have said it stinks, but to me it smells just like sugar cookies. For reference, none of my other Aaron's putties have any smell, aside from maybe a very faint glue-like scent on a couple of them. I also need to point out that nearly every single negative review is plain wrong, as they all stem from the putty partially leaking or usually from it being a little separated or seemingly "dried out." The fact is that this stuff doesn't dry out. Yes, since it is putty, it will move around in the canister during shipping, toward wherever down is oriented. This means it might separate a little or get pieces stuck between the lid and jar or even leak out a little. That's literally just the nature of any putty or slime or goop, etc. Every single jar I've gotten, whether from Amazon or somewhere else, has moved and stuck to various parts of the jar by the time I open it. Literally, all you have to do is grab the main clump of putty and use it to pull the other bits off of the lid and canistet or even the inside of the package if it leaked. It takes less than a minute, it's unavoidable, it's well worth the miniscule amount of trouble, and the putty is still in perfect condition. And as long as you don't store it sideways, it's the only time you'll have to do it. Hey yourself some of this putty, it'd so well worth it.

LOVE
The little mushrooms and gnomes are so cute! Great snapping/crackling sound when you play with it. Only thing is the scent is off but this isn't a scented putty!

Fun to play with, a few flaws but overall good quality.
This was good overall! A few flaws though. I loved finding the gnomes in the putty! However, the blue gnome was missing but all I really care about is playing with it. It made some satisfying crackling sounds when I spread it apart. Sometimes it would rip, but fun to squish. It even came with a word search on the packaging which I didn't expect but fun to do. I don't know if it's worth 15 dollars, but won't stick to your carpet or stain something so better for kids than giving them slime. I think the price should be 5 or 7 dollars, it's fun but the flaws make it slightly more difficult to play with. But I love it and it's a great toy for kids, I recommend this if you're looking for a cheap gift for someone. It's also not sticky like slime, either.

10/10
Kept me busy for hours! For someone who struggles with skin picking for pain stimming— This is the best!Unpopular opinion: I actually loved the broken pieces that didn’t make it through processing.Picking them out was probably more fun than finding the gnomes tbh! My mind was instantly focused on the task ant hand, and I didn’t pick my skin once. Super big win in my book! Also, yes, the tin container is a B and a half to open- but nothing a little elbow grease can’t fix.Once you’ve finally got the container open, just let the putty warm up in your hands before manipulating so it softens up and it’s easier to squish.Overall, 10/10 recommend- you won’t be disappointed.

Product was bad
The product was dried out and smelled weird. I threw it away before I thought to take a picture. It was gross

Too hard to open
Got hooked on this brand after getting 1 tin that occupied our daughter for hours sitting on a long car ride. This variety came with all the gnomes but 2 of them were broken in the putty, and the lid is extremely hard to get off.

Hide Inside? Nothing is hidden.
Everything in terms of texture, stretch, bounce, and general fidget friendliness, is right on par with Aarons Putty. That said, I bought this specifically as a 'seek and find' and there are no gnomes hidden in the putty. This is not an issue of skill. This putty has been scoured by 4 adults who invested way too much time stretching, separating, and searching all to come up with nothing. Multiple times. Very disappointed since it doesn't meet what the product was advertised as. Since I paid $14.99USD for this, it'll be kept as a general fidget toy.
