Great Item, Sturdy and OEM Looking
I like everything about the fob case except the lack of the BMW roundel (logo). If the logo is important to you, consider buying a version of the case with that attribute. I originally thought I was just seeking the utility of the fob, which this item fulfills nicely. But I later caved and bought the roundel separately because I decided I wanted a finished look after all (it was surprisingly expensive). It worked great after the exchange, but now it looks great, too.

This is THE replacement
• A key detail that is included is the "alarm button" being shaped like the OEM ringing speaker, unlike other replacements that have the ambiguous diamond as the button. Not only is it good quality, it is also cheaper than competitors while looking closest to original!• After swapping your key chip over, it's really a new key and adds so much to the feel and value of the car than before with the battered, crusty, and dusty key you carried around. The colors on the key also are as close to original before having to purchase a replacement at the dealer.• The BMW center lock button sadly does not come with this key shell. However if you are meticulous enough, you can use a thin sharp blade (exacto knife/surgical blade) to remove the badge from your original keys and then super glue it to the new one to save a few bucks from having to buy a overpriced sticker. I have done this and so each key replacement truly only costs me the price of this shell. About $9.Personally, I purchased the red and blue one for variety and I look forward to doing this with all the USED UP BMW keys that I come across.

Excellent quality product. Fits my 7 series bmw
This is just one of those things. High quality ! Great low price and very fast shipping and delivery. I program keys, ECU, TCU and such. Had to repair the remote original board and then fitted in this Fob. Now everything works perfect. Comes with an uncut blade key ! No one can beat this price and quality. I will be ordering some more this week. Saves time and money looking for the right product at right price when in a hurry. Thanks to the sellers !

Perfect Fit for 2011 535i Xdrive
Destroyed my extra fob casing (after washing it in the laundry and cutting it open to dry out the electronics board). Bought this as a replacement case and it fit perfectly. Quality is great, nice weight, buttons are firm, spring loaded button for key release is excellent. Comes w a key blank if needed. Battery cover is good tight fit like original BMW fob. Awesome purchase - buying a second just in case!

Lacking instructions.
This was a perfect product except it had no instructions on removing board from old key fob. You can easily damage board so lookup youtube video for removing board from old fob.

Bet you’re wondering how I got the emblem…
First of all, the product is great for the price.Yeah, one of the tabs could probably fit a little tighter, but this thing is not going to come apart unless abused (dropped) a lot.Now to answer the question you’re all wondering about. No, it does not come with the logo lock button. Simple fix!Get your old logo-having fob piece and force something from behind the button. It should pop out. Next, gently but forcibly do the same thing to the new top half where the blank lock button is. Your entire bezel should lift (preferably on one side only) and the bottoms are all then somewhat loose. Allow the blank button to slide out (use a pick if needed) and swap in your logo one. Click the bezel back. Click the two halves together. Ta da! New, old key with fancy brand logo!

Does not fit BMW 2 series circuit board!!!
Beware this does NOT fit the BMW 2 series circuit board that exists inside of the 4-key fobs. This aftermarket housing leaves a tab indent (I'm guessing to be able to open in the future) that impedes on the placement of the circuit board. Being as you have to destroy your OEM key in order to replace the housing you may be left without an operable fob and having destroyed your OEM key for a false replacement.

Works for Bmw 2 series, confirmed
Used for a 2020 bmw 230i and it fit perfectly. When installing the motherboard it doesn't snap into the 3 tabs, (2 on top and 1 on the bottom) but instead lines up with the tabs and sits on top. Next put the top cover on with the buttons and squeeze together to seal. Make sure to install the battery last by removing the back cover.
