I have an '07 Towncar. To save time, I used to have Firestone do oil changes and tire rotations for me. This last time, they wanted over $100 to do an oil change. So I stopped by Walmart, who wanted $45 for the same oil change. But they were too busy. So I thought, what the hell, I'll do it myself. Bought the oil and filter for $40. After all, even with my sprained wrist, this should be no more than 30 minutes all said and done. Save time AND money -- giddy up!So I put the car in the garage, jack it up, and proceeded to drain the oil, then tried to remove the filter. DAMN they put that thing on tight! I own a filter wrench (metal band with rubber on the inside of it for grip and a handle attached) so tried to remove it with that, couldn't get an angle to secure it and have room to unscrew the damn thing. So I went to one of the big three parts stores and bought a filter wrench (cup style), thinking, the one on my car would be the same size as the Motorcraft filter I bought, right? WRONG. Apparently they used a different sized filter than what should've been on there, I think. Can filters be different sizes for the same car? I don't know. Anyway...they must've cranked the living daylights out of it to mount it on.So now my car is in the air, oil drained. I grab my pipe wrench and try it. It punches a whole in the end of it, proceeding to leak oil out but the filter isn't budging. Now I'm getting really...upset. I try a long handled screw driver, but as I get ready to smash it in the filter, I realize, I have no room to pull on the handle of the screwdriver once I get it in there.Well, now I'm yelling explicitives, as I'm 3 hours into a 15 minute job, I leave my car as it sits in the garage and proceed to go on Amazon. I find this kit almost immediately, looks good, figured the cups would be my go-to, but if they didn't work, the channel-lock wrenches should. So I order it.Got it the next day. That made me somewhat happier so I wouldn't be without my car for the weekend.As soon as I got it, I dropped what I was doing and went to the garage to remove that damn filter. The cups couldn't get a grip; they were sliding around the edge of a punctured filter, so they didn't grab well enough for me. Then I grab those channel-lock style wrenches. Those bit in, and I was able to angle just right to slowly and painstakingly twist that damn filter off. I should've took a picture of it when I was finally done with it.That filter was caved in, twisted, punctured, and just about shredded, but it came off! I was ecstatic! 5 minutes later I had the Motorcraft filter on, drain plug screwed in, and the engine filled with oil.I came, I saw, I f%^@'ed that thing up, and conquered it!I was ecstatic -- this tool kit is EXCELLENT. Amazon came through!

if you have a 2019 toyota camry and up it this kit will not work for you. i wish i could return it. the only thing that is cool about it is the case. but unfortunately these tools are very cheaply made.
