This brow soap has a strong hold, clear application, and very minimal residue as long as you get the brush wet before using. I find it works better for me if I apply in layers in little bits at a time rather than all in one go. The tin is really cute and practical, and I like the angled brush. I have tried another brow soap that was very similar but seemed to have slightly less tendency to leave a white residue, so that is why I am deducting one star from this. But, all in all, I like it and will continue to use it.

This is an interesting product. It's easy to use, but will definitely take some practice to get the amount of water/ product right. One brow was perfect, the other had the whitish residue others have mentioned. That side had more water on the brush than the other side, so I think that is the key.It definitely holds my shaggy brows in place and it's easy to wash off, but I'm not sure yet if I like it enough to use regularly.

I have used brow promade and brow gel/wax, but this is my first brow soap. I followed direction, wet the spoolie, dipped in the soap, and brush my brow. Took a few tries to get it right. It was a learning experience.What I've learnt: after wetting the spoolie, dry it on tissue so it's only damp; use brow pencil before brow soap for sparse brow; brush on soap (this is where I made a mess every time); wipe the skin clean with the tissue after soap; make correction before the soap dried.This held my brow temporarily. This could be due to my inexperience. But I feel the holding power is not as good as some promade. But unlike some promde, this does not turn the brow crunchy, oily, or leaving visible shinning residue when dried. And it's very easy to wash off with water. So I recommend this for someone who wish for a cleaner looking brow.

I have never been able to find anything that will lay my thick eyebrows down, they kind of have a mind on their own so they grow every which way. This brow soap is clear, it was a little difficult to use my first time, but I eventually got the hang of it. It definitely laid my eyebrows down, but because they're so thick, they didn't stay for but maybe 8 hrs. I can see this going a long way and to many uses, so I think $7.99 is a great price for this product.

I was hoping this would be a lazy girl solution to make my brows look fuller, but no. The soap itself is nice, the little tin is adorable. You don't need much water at all to use it and you don't use very much product, so it should last even though it's small. The only question I have is how you're supposed to store the little included spoolie.I'm not super experienced with brow products, but it seems like brow soap helps shape and hold your hair, but won't build volume if you don't already have some. My brows are just too sparse, so the soap didn't do very much and I'd definitely still need a product with color to fill in. When I used this on one brow before using some brow gel, it did seem to separate the hairs and make them more pronounced. Didn't quite work for me, but still a nice product.
