Look stunning very fashionable
I took this Swan & Edgar Ambassador watch as a present for my husband for Christmas and he is extremely happy. The watch is well-crafted and looks great you can easily tell it is a 100 % handcrafted watch. Have an amaizing design classic and analog design of this timepiece makes it a great addition to any wardrobe and can be worn with any outfit. The hybrid-steel construction of the watch is both stylish and durable. The watch is water-resistant, making it ideal for everyday wear my husband can swim, take a shower, dancing in the rain and watch will be still perfect. This watch is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a stylish and reliable timepiece and its definitely worth the price. Highly recommend this product.

Watch has issues, shame about the box.
Just received the watch. Looks great, no complaints there. The outer box it came in though, was damaged and falling apart. The inner box was bent and doesn't close properly. I know the box is not part of the watch, but it spoilt the first time I opened the box.

Looks the business but with a minor flaw.
Love the design, really happy with the price paid (got a £60 voucher on checkout), its hand assembled and guaranteed. My only criticism is that I think the bracelet is hollow (probably to keep the weight of the watch down as it's quite chunky), and I already have a little dink on the bracelet. Overall I would recommend 👌

Large, Heavy ‘Marmite’ Watch
The media could not be loaded. This watch arrived in a faux leather case with a slide off cardboard sleeve. The box is in a clear plastic bag for protection. This is a bit of a ‘Marmite’ fashion watch and I think some will absolutely love it and some will hate it.This is a huge and heavy (240g) watch! It’s 48mm across so it really isn’t suitable for small wrists. The weight does make it feel very solid. The dial is a lovely shade of blue and nicely designed with clear numerals, large hands and a nice horizontal bar pattern. For some reason, the manufacturers have put fake screws in the case around the dial and this makes it look cheap in my opinion. The tachymeter around the dial is really just for decoration as it would be difficult to use on a watch that isn’t round. The bracelet is solid and heavy with a nice clasp, but it is long. I have large wrists but still had to remove a couple of links (by pushing out the pins with the correct tool from opposite the ‘slotted’ end). The watch has a hybrid ‘mechaquartz’ movement (too much to go into detail here, so Google it) which means it has both mechanical and quartz elements. This means that there will be a battery inside it but there is no mention of what size it is either in the instructions or on the Swan & Edgar website. Also, the instructions are rather vague and seem to be general instructions for many watches in their range.I’m afraid that I’m not keen on this watch after wearing it for a few days. It is bulky and heavy and is more jewellery than fine timepiece. I’m sure it will be exactly what some people are looking for but the price tag on Amazon (£200) is inflated. It is available for £150 on Swan & Edgar’s own website and even cheaper elsewhere and even though it comes with a 5 year guarantee I can only give it 3 stars.

Very Heavy Solid Watch
I so wanted to love this watch. I know that sounds a bit odd, but I really did.The watch itself is a solid piece of amazing engineering and being automatic, so long as it is worn it will continue to work and keep excellent time. The face is a lovely blue and easy to read, but not so easy in the dark - obviously. This in my opinion is really a dress watch, a fashion item, something to look both elegant and solid. It is extremely well made and looks expensive, but it is very heavy, especially compared with the modern trend of Smart watches. That said, the issue of weight means that after a day of wearing it you really feel the difference when you take it off. On the plus side, being heavy and solid, with a high quality 'glass' (I know it isn't glass as such as it is far harder and more difficult to mark, let alone break) this watch will take a lot of abuse, and being waterproof will protect it from all weathers and conditions.Like a lot of people who have watches similar to this, I do not use the chronograph side of things, to me it just adds to the look. Being automatic there is no battery to worry about and as it comes with a 5 year guarantee there is no need to concern yourself with it being temperamental or even inaccurate.I admit to being a Smart watch fan, but I also like the idea of a nice looking dependable watch that basically just does a watches job of telling the time. This watch, for me, just feels a bit odd. It feels as if the strap is too big for the watch itself, or maybe the watch is just a bit too small for the strap. As I said, I really wanted to love this watch and have found that, after wearing it for a couple of days to really make sure, sadly it is not for me and I will occasionally wear it when dressed up to go out, but not for day to day wear.Watches are very much a very personal thing - which is why there are so many different ones around - and this will be 'the bees knees' for quite a few people I feel. SO as for the watch, it is a lovely thing, heavy, well made and with a 5 year guarantee represents good quality at a fair price.

Stylish watch though chunky
This is a silver-coloured stainless-steel watch, with rather large bracelet (that will have to be adjusted and no mention in the box of being able to send it to the manufacturer for adjustment). However, I always say with these types of bracelets that it is better to have to adjust to make smaller. The face is a lovely blue (described as lapis) and the watch itself is rather large and bulky, as part of the design. It has three small dials in the face – seconds, replacing the large seconds hand that is used as part of the tachymeter, a 24-hour dial and a minute dial (again tied to the tachymeter). The tachymeter itself has two buttons above and below the crown. There is a date function.A nicely constructed watch, in a leather-bound display case, with a not too modest cost. I think this is one which will appeal to those who like a much chunkier watch.
