I accidentally stamped my first one upside down but I think it turned out great! A little trial and error, I recommend testing on scrap pieces for practice. But I love it, thank you!

I started making smaller items, like coasters, for friends and family and wanted a customized logo for future items. This item is very simple and works well after a little practice. The depth and evenness of the brand is highly user dependent. But it works well and is simple to use. So, I literally put my name on my wood projects now. I kinda like that 😎

Update: The seller made it right by shipping me the handle at not extra charge so I bumped it up another star.Yes, the branding iron head came but this product does NOT come with a handle and after sending a message to seller, I have not received a response. The picture clearly shows the handle and nowhere in the ad does it indicate that the handle does not come with it. The quality of the branding iron seems to be OK but if you want any kind of detail to show, the 1" would not be the way to go. The 1" is fine for what I want to use it for. I screwed a screw into it and used the vise grips to hold it while I heated it up and tried it out. If I order another one, I will try a different company. This one comes from China, that's why it took a while to be delivered. The other ones may be the same but will try to find something made here in USA.Update: Seller has contacted me and will be hopefully sending me the handle. Bumped up stars from 1 to 3. Will update again if/when handle is recvd.
