Updated review
[Edit} 3 years later, this ram is performing better that before, since I have upgraded to a processor with a better memory controller. I was able to Overclock this ram to 3733mts CL16-19-19-40. This is much better performance than advertised...and once again this is with 4 Dimms/sticks. It's earned an extra star.Check your QVL list, your motherboard might need a bios update if it was early manufacture. It's single Rank ram, one memory controller per stick. Dual rank with 2 memory controllers per stick would gve 2-3% better performance at the same speeds. I bought 4 stcks to run in two different computers and it ran fne, but not at the rated speeds, but then again I was running it on Zen+ and 3rd gen Ryzens. I upgraded my sisters machine to 32gb and reclaimed those two sticks and added them to mine so I gained dual rank 32GB but it wouldn't run at rated speeds of course with XMP 1 or 2 (probably not in the QVL for my motherboard). I had to manually clock them. They were almost stable at 3200 C16 which is a latency of 10 (3600 C18 is also a latency of 10). I couldn't go faster without loosening up the timings to the point it hurt performance. If you can't go up in speed? Try going down in the timings. 2933 C14 (starting point) is a latency of 9.5 better but not there yet. With the same squeeky tight timings I was able to achieve 3133MHZ C14 with rock stability which is a latency of 8.9 (with 4 sticks which is inherently less stable than 2 sticks). I'm satisfied with the performance but I had to play with it to get the best result I had a right to expect. Faster ram choices in the budget range in January 2020 were not plentiful. I bought what fit the budget. We are practically in a golden age of DDR4 ram right now so you have more choices. This is not bad ram it just wasn't best experience plug and play for me. It was certainly value for the money at the tme but My ram overclocking or setting knowledge was lacking. I hope my experience helps someone else.

Cheap yet well made!
Used the 64GB Timetec 3600Mhz kit to upgrade a non XMP set on an Asrock B550M paired with a Ryzen 9 5950x. Was able to tighten the timings to CAS 16 with this kit at 3600Mhz. It passes memtest with no error! Despite the few negative reviews about the base speed, all ram past 3200Mhz is technically overclocked via XMP. The manufacturer bins chips to see how well they run above their base speed to create a stable XMP profile. Compared to other products TimeTec uses high quality brand name binned ics to create an excellent product with the same or better quality as other manufacturers, but offers a much better value. The memory ics they used are the same as numerous other kits from various makers, but without having a huge markup. The quality is impressive, and the value is simply the best I've seen. I am impressed! Timetec despite focusing on value offers a quality product that fits in well with high end builds, is stable, and reliable. Highly recommended by me if you wish to save a few, yet not cut on quality!

Works perfectly out of the box - XMP enabled
I upgraded from 32gb of some old server RAM to these absolute badboys. For DDDR4 its about as much speed as one can ask for the price. The dimms are have a nice texture to them and feel like they were build solidly. No RGB nonsense, just does what it says on the box. I was able to enable XMP on my first boot and the RAM has run perfectly. Wish I could say the same for DDR5 RAM.Get it on sale and upgrade your old PC today.

Very affordable and looks nice. Unable to get to to run at the full 3600MHz though. Got close.
I am a big fan of Timetec products, especially their NVME drives. This memory kit is rated at 3600MHz and 1.35V. I was unable to get the system to boot with XMP Profile 1 set to those parameters so I opted for XMP Profile 2 running at 3333MHz. You won't notice the difference. Someone who likes to play with RAM timings and speeds could likely have gotten this kit to run at the advertised speeds. Otherwise, the RAM looks outstanding and appears to have a substantial heat sink. Installed with a solid click.

Excellent speed/performance and stability for the price
Products like this are honestly incredibly underrated, but I'm sure that's part of what keeps the price low, so I'm not really complaining. And by "products like this" I mean DRAM that's almost entirely oriented to function rather than form or "gamer" aesthetics. The truth is that, even for a 3600MHz kit, heat spreaders are entirely superfluous, so I'd rather not pay any extra for them. Likewise, I couldn't care less about RGB support, so it's nice to have an option that completely cuts the nonsense out of the equation. That said, it is nice to see that Timetec went with black PCBs for these DIMMs, that way they don't draw attention to themselves in the wrong way.As for performance, this kit is all you could ask for: stable performance running at full rated speed in both XMP and manually overclocked. I suspect one could probably push it higher/faster, but I don't have any need, and 3600MHz is already plenty for the Ryzen 3 3200G APU (definitely seeing good graphics gains over the slower 2400MHz kit I was using before this arrived. All in all, it's a great 2x8GB kit, and pretty stellar value at around $65 compared to other gamer-focused brands, which is pretty amazing seeing as they're still using Hynix memory modules.
