This container fits nearly a 25 pound bag of rice from Costco! It fits great under my under a small sink cabinet. Has a very strong suction seal that would be useful for storing all kinds of pantry goods.

I ordered 4 the first time. Perfect, they all sealed. I ordered two 10lb. gray tops and two more 20lb. White tops. One of the gray and white had the top punched through and pressed into the container. They were different shipment, and the cover plastic was opened for one. I wondered if it was done as a joke. What happens is it breaks the seal handle system. Amazon did refund me for the product.I hope Amazon looks into the packing of these containers. They are great containers. But delivery may be questionable for this time.

Perfect container for the 10lb basmati rice I buy at the grocery store. Great quality and seals tightly. No complaints.

its a nice sturdy large size container, holds close to 20 lbs of flour. BUT the lid is designed so that you use the handle to push down to "burp" the air out, then lock the seal by folding the handle down flat. when in this flat locked position, i'm still able to pull the lid off - and while it doesn't come off super easy, it also doesn't take that much effort. i'd think if this were truly air tight then you should almost be able to pick up the filled container by the handle without the lid coming off, but that's not going to be the case.so if you're looking for LONG TERM air tight food storage, this probably isn't the right item for you, but if you just need something to be used daily with large storage capacity, where product will be accessed frequently, then this is a sufficient item.

We keep our 20lb bag of rice and beans in these containers, easy to open and close.

This container works well...got it for the new dog food I am trying out...going with a dehydrated brand that comes in a zip-lock type bag that is cumbersome to re-lock, so trying this...it works well and though I didn't test it scientifically, it seems air-tight to me...it has handles on the side for lifting and such - the one on top is not for that, but rather for re-sealing the lid...pleased so far...

Nice airtight container, just what we wanted for storing rice. We had problem with brown Basmati rice that we recently bought (and started mixing with white Jasmine rice) which around spring time, started to have lots of larvae that turned into rice moths crawling out off the old container that wasn't airtight, although we'd never had this problem before in all 60 yrs of eating rice as part of the mainstay (Asian) diet. So, we tossed the old container and started looking for a better rice container to minimize/prevent this from happening again in the future while putting the rest of Basmati rice in the freezer to kill whatever shouldn't be in there, and rinse the rice at least half a dozen times before cooking.We decided on this style of container and opted for the largest capacity (20 lbs) since we go through rice quite quickly here. The container works just as expected. The airtight lid seals nicely and tight. The plastic body is thick, durable, and sturdy sure to handle and capable of holding the 20 lbs weight without collapsing, warp or disfigure, can maintain its upright regtangular shape, and can be stored nicely in kitchen cabinet. Also comes with its own measuring cup.[NOTE] - The handle when in fold-down position is the locking airtight & sealed position. The handle should NOT be used as carrying handle (like a bag for carry), because when the handle is in the upright position = that is when the lid is opened and no longer locked & sealed with airtight, and will become loose ready to be pulled open..... and if you do (carry it by its handle) you would very likely drop the whole container on the floor with whatever in it splatter all over for you to cuss at yourself while cleaning up the mess!! So, DO NOT use the handle for carrying. Don't say we didn't warn you either.FYI -- We would've given this rice container a 5 stars, but because of the change in pricing we decided not to. Initially, we wanted 2 of these containers, one in grey lid, one in white lid (for our Jasmine rice and Basmati rice), the price between the 2 colours were the same initially, but then the vendor decided to raise the price on the white lid to $45.... upon asking some questions, the vendor did say that because of the low stock in the white colour so they raised the price.... we don't know about you, but we didn't think that low stocking of the product is customer's fault! Hence, should be punished to pay more for that ineptitude and mistake of inventory management by an inept someone else?!! So, we deducted the star review because of this issue. You could say that it isn't exactly about the product, but more about the C/S and pricing of this product overall, nontheless, it made for a NOT very good shopping experience, it did affect our decision, because of this price gouging, we decided to buy only one container instead of two.

This container is a perfect size to fit a 20lb bag of rice. I needed something just in case we had a situation with rice weevils. I needed a container that was tall and not wide so it fits perfectly in my cabinet space.

My husband is a huge rice lover & eats it all the time so we buy in bulk. This container fits perfectly into the space & holds the exact amount of rice we purchase. Just be aware & remember to hold the container from the side & NOT the cover handle cause that is what is used to open the container & you run a high risk of it opening & spilling the contents.

The description is a lie. It does not fit 10kg of flour. What a waste of money.

Time to change my rice container. Wish I saw this earlier. I especially like the lid.

Arrived broken, returned it

Ordered this for 20lbs of flour. There is no way it will fit. Way to small
