Fantastic little soup maker that is going to be very well used
I am the only member of my family who loves soup. I have thought about buying a soup maker before because the tinned soups I buy have a lot of salt and preservatives, which are not good for my kidneys, but I didn't want a machine which made lots of soup that I would have to eat for days on end, or freeze. Then I saw this little baby - and I had to have it!Before buying it I looked at all the reviews and all the recipes from the company and was really impressed. I chose the sage green (such a pretty colour), and it arrived last night. I couldn't wait to get started today! One of my favourite soups is leek and potato, and I had all the ingredients in the house already, so armed with the recipe provided by Justme, off I went.I chopped up two small potatoes, a good chunk of leek, popped in a small handful of frozen diced onions and a bit of dried thyme and then used half a stock cube melted in 200ml of water. I popped everything into the soup maker, making sure I did not go past the Maximum mark inside, put the lid on and pressed the start button. Then I went away for 15 minutes or so. I could hear it working its magic and after 19 minutes there were 3 beeps and the soup was done. I was amazed when I poured it out - I got a lovely smooth creamy soup which was red hot. The smell was divine. It makes 300ml of soup - which filled my normal soup bowl, and I had it with crusty ciabatta for lunch. Gorgeous. And now for another huge advantage - it actually cleans itself. Yes, really!!!After I made the soup I filled it with water to the maximum mark, put one very small drop of washing up liquid into it, put on the lid and pressed the Clean button. It whizzed around several times, stopping and starting and only took a few minutes before it beeped and was done. When I opened the lid I poured out the water and rinsed it with clean water and it was sparkling clean. No need to wash it myself. Brilliant. There is a little brush which is included in case anything gets stuck on the blades, but I didn't need it.I have to say that the recipes provided on the Justme website are really helpful. I have a shopping delivery tomorrow and am getting a stock of products which I can use to make lots of different soups. Their Youtube videos are also very informative. Tomorrow I will be making cream of mushroom, and then asparagus, but the great thing about this is that once you get familiar with it you can make all kinds of soups using whatever you have left in the fridge and in the cupboard - and you can use frozen vegetables so you don't have to have fresh vegetables to make really tasty soup. There is a button for chunky soup and for smooth soup so you can choose whatever you want, and it also makes smoothies - ideal for breakfast and warm summer days.I am so impressed - I really wish I had bought this a long time ago, and I know it is going to be one of the most used gadgets in my kitchen (even better as it is just the size of a thermos flask so takes up no space at all)!

Your next kitchen gadget
We used to have a soup maker/blender but needed a new one & after scrolling the Amazon pages I really liked the look of this one & so I bought it. It is an excellent kitchen gadget that looks nice but doesn't take up much room. This is mainly because it is designed as a one-serving soup & smoothie maker. We're still experimenting with flavours but the soups & smoothies we've made so far have been delicious & so quick & easy to make. For example: 1 carrot, 4 diced potato cubes as a thickener ( straight from the freezer is fine ) half a vegetable stock cube ( it's stated in the manual not to use a whole one ) & some water. 19 minutes later you have lovely carrot soup. As for a smoothie, today I put in a banana, some vanilla ice cream & some chocolate-flavoured milk. 2 minutes is all it takes for a very nice drink to be made.Another good thing is how easy it is to clean, it takes about the same amount of time as it does to make a smoothie. Pour some water in, add one drop of washing-up liquid & choose the Clean function. Job done.We really like this item & are pleased with our choice.

Absolutely Awesome!
This is an absolutely fantastic little soup maker! I live on a canal boat so wattage is important and this is very efficient. Produces a perfect bowl of soup, piping hot and just the right amount for one. I haven’t had it long but have used it every day. The cleaning cycle is a bonus. I’m so chuffed with this little machine and would highly recommend it!

Ideal for single serving
Love this little gadget. Keep cut up veg in a container in the fridge, just a handful with half a stock cube makes delish soup in less than 20 minutes. 😋Qick and simple to use.At first I thought it was too thin but once I tried it I was in love. 😍Rather expensive but it is something I will use again and again.Ideal if you are dieting, ideal to take to work, ideal for people on their own.Best thing I’ve bought since my multi cooker 😍

Fantastic. Buy one now!
Let me just say first off that I’m an awful cook. I don’t make soup because it’s horrible! My daughter refused to eat it. My mum can’t understand how you can fail at soup but I did. This little contraption is amazing. I live on my own so making a pot of soup is not for me. The little recipe book gives you the basics of measurements so I can adapt with whatever is in the fridge or freezer. I bought frozen onions. I’ll never buy another onion in my life! Frozen mix veg. I always have peas in the freezer and I grow mint in the garden. You don’t need anything else! Just because I can I put chicken in my veg soup and ham in my pea and mint. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was amazing with an egg ribboned though. It’s honestly a revelation! I might even get healthy who knew that was possible. Oh and frozen smoothy packs and some soya milk- wonderfully smooth and delicious. Easy to clean. Obviously don’t let it boil dry with not enough liquid as someone in the reviews did. Thats operative error not the machines fault!
