I wear a helmet because I have balance problems and I can easily fall backwards. These helmets are a lot more comfortable than bicycle helmets, but they have a much larger profile and they make you look a geekier. They’re actually pretty warm in the winter and the vents are OK in the summer, but they head does get hot. They’re easily adjustable. The snap works just fine. It would be nicer that had a magnetic latch on it like one of my bicycle helmets has. But I think it’s pretty hard to beat for the price.

Helmet was exactly as described.

Replacement pieces fit well. Just sad I had to replace it after wearing the hat ten times and the gear stripped in the tightening mechanism.

Give new life to your old hardhat! If you purchased an aftermarket or similar hardhat, there's a good chance this set will fit. I bought mine off a different website, but still works great!

Ultimately, it looks like the visor will work well. If you already have this hard hat, then you're stuck, so be prepared for the following issues. My complaints are (1) the instructions are very unhelpful. A few more close up photos and some kind of indication of the orientation of the hard hat in the photos would fix this issue. If you can't visualize how parts go together, you'll have a problem. (2) the right side visor coupling wouldn't fit over the ridge of the hard hat to allow it to seat properly and get the screw through the visor and the two coupling pieces. I had to shave it down with a razor to get it to fit, which it now does. That's completely unacceptable. However, once it's put together, it is pretty nice.
