The item came in a small packaging, smaller than I had expected. It looks like the unit they sent me was a previous return because a few of the metal pieces were bent and the board pieces were either scratched or had coffee stains on them. Very disappointed. I'll most likely return it since the unit they shipped me appears to be used!The item itself is decent overall. I would say it is sturdy but I wouldn't put anything heavier than 15-20lbs. There is no hole or lock for the adjustment piece- you just tightening the locking screw, so the locking mechanism isn't made for placing heavy items on the desk table top.Pros: small, space saver, compactCons: not sturdy/flimsy, small, lack of depth to place larger laptops

Not happy at all. If my 7 year old leans on desk it seems like it will just snap.For the price I would expect way better qualityI feel scammed.

Bought this for my college daughter small room and she loves it. Perfect size and very sturdy.

The quality of the wood is good and it also has a nice look to it. The assembly instructions were easy to follow too. My only problem is that one of the knobs came off (rather easily) after a month of use and now the desk height can't be adjusted. Wish the knobs could have been more sturdy. That being daid, it's still being made useful as a side table. Overall, for the price, the buy was okay.

I love my desk! My husband put it together and then tried to keep it for himself! I will now have to get him one! Very easy to put together and the I use it in my office! Glad I picked it!
