Next level puzzle challenge.
This speed cube is not for the faint of heart! If you (or your kids) have mastered the regular 4x4 or 5x5 cubes, this is a whole new challenge. The color changing effect is really hard to wrap your mind around at first-the slightest tilt of the cube and it changes from metallic purple to metallic blue-adding a color perception challenge to the cube. In addition, the varied cube sizes (rectangles etc) of the different layers makes the cube even more challenging. The cube does come with a really nice plastic carrying case and a small screwdriver in case you want to tighten or loosen the cube for resistance. There is a tutorial and guide book (small, with QR codes for more information) to help with some cheat codes on how to solve the puzzle. This cube will keep a busy brain working for a long time!

Good addition to the Rubix collection
The Rubix cube works smoothly with decent quality. It is something different, normally it's by colors and this one is by shapes. It has a nice purple color, it is a good addition to our Rubix cube collection.

One of my sons favorite cubes.
I bought this for my son & it is one of his favorite cubes. A few of the face pieces have came off after months of use and once they came off they dont stay as well as when we first got it, but overall we are happy with the purchase.

Unusual and pretty
So the mirror cube solves very much like a regular 3x3, but instead of doing it by color, you solve by shape (with a small, medium, and large layer in the final arrangement). Most mirror cubes have a silvery, mirror finish. As far as I know, only GAN has this shiny iridescent purple/blue mirror cube. It's all one color, but because of its glimmer, it looks purple or blue, depending on how the light catches it. The exterior is actually UV coated -- so the color isn't going to fade with time.Movement is smooth, as you'd expect from GAN. No visible magnets in this guy, but they're there-- helps with speed and keeps it from popping. Looking forward to the day when mirror cubes become an official speed cubing event by the WCA.

It's fun to mess around with. Just like a Rubix cube but better. It's durable and easy to turn the pieces. Fun little toy.
