I am rekindling playing after some time off, and looked for a companion to help me refocus and reestablish all the fundamentals. This book offers that, just perfect. Plus very sensible discussions, by the author, around all the subject matters. Recomended.

It's hard to imagine anyone writing a better method for classical guitar. We know, too, that classical technique is the best for fingerstyle steel string , so these volumes should appeal to a very wide audience. Perhaps the author, or someone else, will record accompanying examples: or put some online. As a teacher, I felt that I had to buy this immediately ( subsequent to a glowing review in Classical Guitar magazine) and I've been engrossed ever since it arrived.
