Great value and performance!
We purchased the Recumbent Cross for our therapy gym at our rehab facility due to budget constraints, and it has performed far better than we expected! The machine is sturdy, comfortable, and easy to use, which has made it one of our patients’ favorite machines in the gym. The swivel seat and leg harness provide great support for various therapy exercises, and our patients appreciate how accessible and effective it is. It’s been a fantastic addition to our equipment lineup, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

heavy duty frame, works good, note review is based on assembly and one week of usage
the package arrived with minor but obvious damage to the heavy cardboard container, which had been re-taped with clear shipping tape. While assembling the unit we found one flange that was slightly bent but easy to straighten ourselves. It took one evening and the next morning for us to assemble. the instructions were good. But there is a lot of bending over during assembly, and / or rolling the assembly on its side, etc. There are a couple of plastic 'end caps' which just cover the ends of the frame -- they fasten with self-tapping screws, and we found them very difficult to screw into the frame. In fact we had to disassemble some of the seat from the frame, and then screw in the end-cap screws temporarily, then align and bolt in the seat frame, then remove the screws, add the plastic end caps and re-install the screws.Using the bike is good - step thru and nice safety bars to hold. Seat swivels but I don't bother with it. Feels very sturdy and safe while exercising. The foot pedals are my main attraction -- they are more like an accelerator pedal in your car. very nice. I like the movable arms also. The length of the hand bars is adjustable, but klunky-- have to unscrew completely, adjust, eye-ball the position, the screw in the knob. awkward for two people to share the bike, so we compromise on a position and don't change it.I wish the bike had a little more adjustment for long-leg person. But in theory I could add a little expansion between the front and rear units at the floor where you step thru. The monitor screen/computer is really basic but nice for us since only needs battery. I wish it had a two-user mode since we share the bike.I do recommend this to anyone who is looking for something for home use, that is more of a therapy unit than a modern fancy peloton bike.

just what i needed
my son and husband my husband only took about 2 hours to build this. they told me all the instructions were very clear and the parts were all there. I have used steppers n the past at pt and wanted to avoid going out in the winter and rain to a facility to continue my rehab for stroke and left sided weakness which left me unable to walk without a walker, i found it easy to get on and off this stepper with their supervision for the first time and which is big plus. i am buying foot straps as my left ankle and foot need held in position. i was able to do 600 steps on my first attempt and looking forward to more sessions with them to stay strong and active as i fight through this disabilty. I highly recommended this for older adults or stroke patients like me.

Best exercise equipment for my limited mobility
I love, love, love this machine! When it arrived, the package was mangled and several parts were damaged. The equipment manufacturer was quick to replace the parts and my husband assembled everything in a few hours. The YouTube assembly video from the manufacturer was also very helpful. I have MS and struggle with mobility, strength and balance. This machine is so easy to get on and off, make adjustments and tailor to your fitness level. The leg strap is an added bonus and really improves the workout by elevating my left leg which is difficult to move. There are two sets of handles, one stationary and the other set moves with your arms. The stationary handles give excellent support when you are getting on or off the machine. I have total confidence using this equipment by myself without assistance. If you are able bodied and fit, this is probably not the machine for you, but for those of us that are aged or have physical disabilities, this the one!

Great nicely priced equipment for anyone but especially for special needs people and rehab
It's an excellent unit for the money and sturdy and will do the same as a 4000.00 to 6000.00 medical rehab equipment. Easy to assemble but you will probably need 2 people . Assembly consists of 11 steps and each step has its own package of parts for that step. I have never seen this In many years of assembling things. Love the price . Love the design and love the workout. they kind of thought of everything for special needs people who need a good workout but not hard on the body
