I ordered this after my dryer stopped getting hot but was still running. I knew it was the heating element or thermostat. I got it the next day and it only took me about 30 minutes to take the old one out and put this one in. My dryer works even better now and dries my clothes faster! $25 fix vs $1200. I'll take that!GA girl

Hardware for my machine and another version of Maytag 3000
Very fast delivery, Super-easy install. This kit came with parts for my Maytag 3000 plus parts for a different version of a Maytag 3000 series dryer. This saved us a ton of money over calling a technician. Believe me...much cheaper and very, very easy to install.

Fits well, subpar heating
The item installs well, no problem with fitment. However, it takes SIGNIFICANTLY longer to try clothes than with the OE element. I only replaced the element and not any of the other components, so I know it's the element at fault. Good enough to get you out of a jam, but not worth it in place of the OEM part.
