A Pangolin Tale: Adventure of the Armored Anteater

It is a beautifully written wildlife story
My 5 year old loves Pangolins at the moment. I saw this, and thought I'd take a chance, as it had no reviews. It is a beautifully written wildlife story, and reminded me of some of Paul Geraghty's books. My five year old was delighted. It also includes a section at the end with additional information on Pangolins. My only criticism is that, though beautiful, the pictures were not that clear. This meant that my 3 year old wasn't able to follow the story. A great book for older children.

Stunning!
Stunning book, which I hope they bring out in a large hardback version. The water colour illustrations are enough to make it a classic for children aged 5+

The illustrator
The illustrations are truly amazing (if you see this mark my mock generously miss) 10/10 would recommend (but seriously I need a good grade)

We all need to know about pangolins before there are no more left. . .
Now, when I was a young child, I learned about pangolins from having been given a badly made fluffy one by my uncle Manny, it was a birthday present and I couldn't tell one end from the other, both were pointed, so I had to ask questions and was told all about pangolins. I called him Panny the pangolin because uncle Manny gave him to me, I then ended up calling uncle Manny, mangolin and so it became Panny the pangolin from uncle Manny the mangolin. Anyway, enough of this silly story about me, I have now bought this book to give to a child relative who may learn about this seriously endangered species and a very good book it is too. Oh, and by the way, my fluffy pangolin couldn't curl up unto a ball like the real ones.

Great children's book.
Beautifully illustrated book, which gives a 'day in the life' of the rare and unusual animal, the pangolin. Aims to raise awareness of the endangered status of this interesting creature.
