Okay, need to rate this better than just average.This book is the very foundation of Business Continuity. If you know what that is, buy the book. If don't know, but strangely want to find out, buy the book. Otherwise and in all other cases, this isn't the book for you.Honestly, a really good book, great book on the topic, but unless this is what you are looking for (I was) then you've confused it with something else or gotten to the wrong page.

This book certainly helped me to find my way through the complex world of BC. It is easy to follow, with a roadmap to guide you through and summaries after each chapter. It covers the DRII / BCI Common Body of Knowledge step by step, with many examples from real life cases, checklists, forms - everything I needed to get through a first assignment. And it will become provide a useful benchmark for us as we become more mature and widen the scope of our BC and risk managementactivities.

For a not-so-thick book that is almost $90, the author should have double-checked the spelling and grammar before sending off to the publisher.Even though this book is very comprehensive and thorough regarding the subject matter, the numerous spelling and grammatical errors are very distracting.

The information in the book are basic, not deeply developed. Maybe it is good for beginners, not for experienced personnel.

Great value for used book.
