This would probably be a permanent fix for your PS5 joystick drift, here are a couple of tips when you're trying to install it:Put low melted solder on all 14 pins on the back of the joystick then you would fix the board somehow take your heat gun blow 400° C on the joints until you see them shine and then keep blowing air while you're gently removing the joystick.Once it's removed take your sweet time and you want to absorb that excess solder using a copper wire on all 14 contact points until you empty the solder completely.You should be able now to fit in the joystick now keep holding it with your hand and then apply some solder on each pin.Takes a while sometimes but it takes a lot of patience it took me about 1 hour 35 minutes to replace two joysticks on two different controllers.

These ate NOT plug and play like other controller joysticks. These are soldered in by two 3 prong resistors, a 4 prong button and 4 shield prongs. So you have to desolder 14 prongs to get each old one out. They are also using much stronger solder so it takes more heat to desolder. I did a lot of research and found that if you use some flux and melt some soft solder into the existing solder then it will make sucking the solder off each prong with a plunger much easier.I also found that carefully popping the old resisters off the sides of the old joystick and removing them individually then cutting the prongs to the joystick shield/housing makes it WAY easier to remove. This just leaves the 4 prong button and if you get enough of the solder off ahead of time then it comes out fairly easy also.I used a combination of heat gun and soldering iron. I've never done this before but have experience with similar jobs. It's not impossible, but has taken me a good amount of time making sure not to damage the controller. I could not get all the solder off so it did take some heat and pliers to get the old parts off.I will update this once I get it all back together an tested, but wanted to get my initial installation posted.

Un control salió malo con drift y el otro salió bien aun cuando tenia un pin doblado, y por andar desconectando y conectando los cables para saber cual era el problema, se daño el cable del touchpad, son muy delicados los cables. Después de instalado, se pueden probar antes de conectar los cables con pines.
