amazing but not for the faint of heart!
Extremely fun, I have been skateboarding since the 80’s, a friends kid had one of these at the local skatepark so I tried it and had to get one, I put the wow go 105 wheels on it and it can take the dirt roads like a beast now! It’s very fun and has impressive power, I’m 210lbs and this thing will throw me off if I’m not careful, very cool, very fun, powerful! I ride on the highest setting because I enjoy tempting death!!!! This thing is listed as a beginner model, I would never let my kid ride this on anything past the 2nd speed setting but man it’s fun and yes it will get air over the hips at the park! I’m interested in testing how much abuse this will take, but two hours and six miles in at the skate park and up and down my dirt driveway left me with 20 percent battery life, exceeding my expectations.so far I am very impressed, if the battery life and motors hold out I will be stoked! I have only used it once so far and this review was written the same day, if it doesn't break I would say this is an excellent set up. I will update the review as needed.

6'1" 240+ lb "athletic man in 30s" review
First off, I have been skating for a very long time period I did most of my skating from the ages of 13 to 20 period longboards and shortboards. Gotta escape boards period period Mebo. Is the company I found in 2018, I ordered their V-2 from their site period only good things to say about that, still works 2 day and it's been about 6 years period I have put a lot of miles on that board period I have tried the meatball minute 2. And have Seen the videos with mixed reviews. I feel like some of these videos? Can be biased and/or have gotten a weird board, it happens. That's why there is a return policy. Asfar as the mini 5, feels like an upgrade in most ways. The acceleration and breaking are both much smoother. The Mini 2 was more abrupt and the braking was choppy, imo (vs the Mini 5). I have gotten the v2 up to 30 mph. I know this board is capable as stated. I got the Mini 5 regular. I did not need the extended version as I use this mostly for fun and the 30 plus minutes is more than enough. The battery, I'm sure, is a little lower than advertised due to the size of me.The trucks, wheels, concave of the board all very top notch. It is what I expected from Meepo. I can see a beginner getting used to this on the first speed and eventually working up. I can also see an advanced skater handle this board and have a lot of fun.I also tried a belted board from a different company that coat 2x twice the amount and the acceleration and braking was super sketchy and the board super stiff.I would love to eventually try Meepo's belted version. That would be awesome. If your thinking about this Mini 5, it's a MeepoThey continue to make quality products.

Great board, a few issues
Love this board, although the belts started getting loose and making a lot of noise. I had to adjust a few times to a perfect tightness so the noise wouldnt continue. I also snapped 2 belts before making a post on reddit where meepo suggested adjusting the belt tension. I wish Meepo would include this information in the manual that comes with the board, as many users may not be familiar with belt driven electric boards. And I would not have snapped 2 of the belts. Also, meepo should include a care manual to maintain your board. Its like taking care of a little care lol, lots of hardware and parts that may need adjusting , grease, or oil over time. Keeping things clean etc. Have to look that up on your own though. The board is really fast, i mostly stay on settings 2 and 3, i don't see a purpose for the 4th settings unless you can manage wobbles like a pro or are heavier weight, or you're an adrenaline junkie.. lol. Be sure to read the owners manual on the different settings you can enable on the remote. I accidentally pressed buttons and the board shot backwards instead of forwards. It could be extremely dangerous if you are not aware like I was.The board quality is made of strong materials from what I percieve, and nothing appears to have deteriorated. I've rode for about 100 miles so far, the battery life is great. Would not recommend this board to beginners who have never ridden a skateboard.

Do not purchase!
Way too many accidents on this board ! Do not buy ! Intermittent connectivity. Not safe! Customer service sucks ! They did nothing to help the situation ! No concern for safety! Charger nearly exploded! They offered to send a new charger ! Not to take to take care of the main issue which was the ESC. I would not recommend this brand to anyone ! Take heed to this warning !

Best Purchase (for fun) I've Made in a Long Time
I love this thing. I use it almost every week just for fun. I often buy "toys" like this and the trill dies off in a month or two, but I keep craving time on this board. If you asked me to draw the ultimate electric skateboard back when I was 15, this is exactly what I would have created. It's just so much fun.I'm over 200lbs and this thing is still overpowered for me in mode 4. I'm glad it has mode 4, but when cruising at top speed on this thing in mode 3, I've never once been like I wish I could go a little faster, lol. If you've never gone 30mph on a skateboard before you just can't imagine how fast it feels (BTW, it goes way faster than you can "run off" of it, so be sure to wear full pads, b/c if you crash at 30 your sliding and rolling not running off the board).Battery life, power, and hillclimb are great even at 200lbs!Riding it feels similar to snowboarding but with way more grip. It's thrilling!
