If you plan on showing unique content on each screen, you would need a separate unit (Media Player and License) for each TV.If you plan on showing the same content on 2 (or more) TVs, you could use 1 Media Player + License with a Video Splitter.

Q: Can this be used with any media player or does it have to be the one that comes with it. I have media players I can put a flash drive in.

This package comes with a Media Player that is pre-installed with the relevant software.We do not support installation on other devices as we don't know if their configuration will work properly.

Q: Is it possible to simultaneously play video footage or TV while showing the menu on the side of the screen?

You can show a video while showing a menu on the side - this will require us to develop a custom template for your specific requirement. You cannot show TV alongside a menu.

Q: Is it possible to run the content over a network connection? We want to display same content at 5 locations in our hospital.

Yes, it is possible to run the content over a network connection. You would need a Video Encoder in addition to our equipment to do this. You will find this equipment if you search Google for "HDMI to network stream". Alternately, if it is not possible to set up using a Video Encoder, we recommend using 5 sets of Media Players+Licenses (1 set per screen) as it might be more cost-effective and easier to manage. You could push the same content to all screens using the doPublicity's online Remote Management capabilities.
