Clarke MIG102NG 90amp No Gas MIG Welder by Clarke International

Light weight, compact but surprisingly powerful machine. My only negative comment is the welding mask is so poor, bin it and buy an auto dimming one. Look no further, just buy it.....

Needles to say, it's a Clarke welder, that alone says it's worth it. It's most basic mig you can imagine (only 4 power settings), but of one of the best makes - basic model, but from a TOP shelf!Stable weld, no issues, V simple to use. Much smaller, and lighter, when comparing with simmilar welders. Best I could find on market for the purpose of DIY use, and since it uses standard MB15 torch it's SOOO simple, AND cheap, to get all replacement parts for it you'd need - m6 contact tips and push on shroud. Perfect professional flux core wire welder for home DIY use.

shame it does not go down to 30 amps but part of a stainless sink soon took care of that a perfect home welder strip of sink drops amps a treat

The welder is very good, BUT I have had problems after the torch liner became damaged giving wire feed issues. It seems to be a non standard fit, finding a replacement is impossible, I had to use a generic one and make modifications. Come on Clarke, if you sell the welder please sell the parts. If it was not for this it would be 5 stars

I am a hobby welder so was looking for something relatively cheap that would do small jobs. Seeing a Clarke welder for the price offered was almost too good to be true. Delivery was swift, package arrived slightly damaged but would expect nothing less from DPD, I was just happy I didn't need to fish it out of the nearby river. Plugged it in and instantly had wire feed issues. Contacted the supplier who arranged uplift and replacement and then received a working apparatus all within 2 weeks. As after sales and everything considered I am pleased with the final outcome.
