Tracing Light Box, A4 LED Light Pad A4 Light Box for Artists, Drawing, Sketching, Animation [Updated Version]

I was very skeptical at first and reluctant to purchase this item. So I thought if it doesn’t work ...just send it back! For the last 20+ year’s of my calligraphy life? I have literally spent hundreds of hours drawing lines to write my calligraphy. THEN I have to erase the lines after writing. This leaves the product with a dull finished inked project. The erasing removes a little of the sheen from the ink. With this I still use my lines that I have drawn on a pre-printed sheet of paper. I then amableoplace on top of the lines paper (on the brightest setting) and it works like a charmI . I am able to write with confidence that my work will be top notched. I only wished it would come with a larger screen 18” x 36”. Looking to trace anything...this is the way to go. Medium linen weight card stock works beautifully. Heavy card stock and dark colored paper is not Transparent and DOES NOT WORK period. I am so happy I purchased this tracing box. I could do somersaults. I love my tracer light box and Iit is an answer to my prayers. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!This is an update 9/29/30 to my surprise I thought I had submitted my first review. THIS LITTLE BOX is phenomenal. I repeat IT IS phenomenal! I am able to keep my lines straight (I am a calligrapher and when I have been commissioned to write lines in a poem ect. I am able to do so (I have pre drawn lines of various widths and I place it on my tracer and then lathe paper...and the rest is history. I no longer have to hand draw lines (which is a pain in the...☹️) Please what ever you need to trace BUU THIS. I found this beautiful letter of the alphabet for the letter of a piece, was able to trace it and it was the finishing touch to the masterpiece. Thank you Amazon for bringing this product to us!!

What an amazing gadget. What surprised me most was how even and bright the light is. I wish my Kindle Paperwhite had lighting this even!

I love love love this light pad, I have been using an old rose art light pad from high school that was at least 10 years ago. I decided to get this one and give it ago since it has LED light. I love this light pad!Pros:-light setting has three modes. When set on highest it can even light my room enough for me to use it as a nightlight if I wanted to (just an example) It doesn't hurt my eyes. The lowest settings is a warm soft light which I find pleasing to the eyes.-its thick enough that I don't fear I might break it.- it comes with a cover bag to keep it in and keep it clean- I can use it with regular sketch/printer paper as well as watercolor paper when it's on the brightest settings (which is a plus because I use watercolor)Cons:I honestly haven't found a con. I mean it took some getting used to drawing on it but I expected that so it really isn't a con.

This light box is the perfect size for just about anything you want to use it for. Whether it be drawing, tracing, sketching, or any other artistic use you can image. The fact that it can be plugged into an outlet or the computer, or even a portable battery it delivers. The adjustable light control is also a plus. It comes with a great little storage bag that I use when I travel, or need to store it, which is very rare as I use it so often. The size is perfect for just about anything too, and it has a sleek look. This is a great seller, they go above and beyond to help their customers and they ship promptly as well. If you are looking for a great light box get this one. You will love the adjustable lighting!

I’m using the light box to set up a hundreds of slides and negatives for scanning. This product works very well, at very reasonable price. The three light levels are perfect, with a good balance between being able to see the needed details and avoiding eye strain from too much light.The illumination is uniform across the face, and there are no hot or dark spots. The weight is minimal, yet stiff enough to support the work, and not feel like it can pull apart.While some may miss the power converter, just about any USB plug works, and it is one less that will eventually clog the environment.Only downside is the scale printed on the screen is in centimeters instead of dual centimeters and inches.

I read quite a few reviews of similar products before deciding on this particular light box. It is very easy to use. You plug it in and turn it on. Need it brighter? Push the power button. Brighter still? Push the power button again. The power chord stays in the unit securely (which seemed to be a problem in other units) so you can concentrate on using the light box. The flat surface means I can trace an image larger than the lighted area by moving the image up or down smoothly and seamlessly.I highly recommend this product.

I really wanted to love this. In fact I would love it if the plastic around the cord hadn't come apart where it plugs into the light box. This happened after only a few uses. It is still usable but I will need to be really careful and probably wrap the cord with electrical tape. It is sad that it is so cheaply made.UPDATE: Several months after my review, the company contacted me and offered to send me a replacement. So now I have a new light box and more importantly a new power cord which will hopefully hold up better.

Awesome product! My young artist uses this and says its comparable to the expensive ones they have at school in his Advanced Art class for the gifted kids. The lighting is beautiful & adjustable, simply plugs into a usb port and has a gorgeous presentation. The glass is great ,strong, and its very durable & portable. He uses this daily, has had it for months and it has been a wonderful product with zero issues. Its good sized and I really cannot say enough:). Happy Son=Happy Mom!!
