Telling it as it is, a must-read book
Robert Spencer's "Complete Infidel's Guide to the Koran" is the most comprehensive analysis of WHAT, WHY and HOW Islam poses such a serious existential threat to Western Culture and Civilization. It does so courageously, by quoting and thus exposing the Koran's explicit incitement to violence against Jews, Christians and all other non-Muslims. The author also explains why the general obligation of Muslims to interpret literally the Koran's contents directly leads to hostility and violence against non-Muslims and Western Culture. This book is a huge eye opener for anyone wanting to understand better beyond mainstream "narratives" of Islam as a means to Peace and Harmony which are nothing more than just "narratives" of convenience and deceit aiming at the gradual Islamisation of the West.

one can change ones mind as often as one likes
Very informative and a good read, I could hardly put it down. Gives the historical background information and an illuminating insight to the mind-set of the person responsible for the content of the Koran and it's like reading the memoirs of a spoilt kid. Something doesn't go this "spoilt kids" way and guess what, he gets word from his god which allows him to go back on earlier statements and completely change his view. The reason is because this god can't make up his mind and gratifies whatever the kid wants. It would all be so funny, if this "spoilt kid" that founded a religion wouldn't be taken so serious, unfortunately this is not the case.

It will always be difficult to write a critique on a religion.
It will always be difficult to write a book that gives a critical outlook on a religion and although I have not finished it yet I find it easy reading and informative. I have read the Koran and found it to be a chore and a boring one at that, but I persevered (this included some of the hadiths). I have also read the Bible a few times and found it entertaining (also boring in places) but quite enjoyed the gore and sexual philandering. I bought this book because I still cannot understand why anyone over the age of 7 could take the Koran seriously, but obviously several million do. I am still dipping into the book and find that it reiterates my initial thoughts but gives a bigger insight to the threats that this religion poses to any "non-believer". For me,when it comes to religion, the jury is still out. I like to think that I am fairly well read with an open outlook to all things and a willingness to understand most. But it seams that this is anathema to a Muslim, which I find disturbing, because it comes with a veiled threat. It's like going back to the time of the Spanish inquisition. Lets live and let live and enjoy the diversity of mankind. (or am I being soft?)

Very Informative
A very good analysis to the religiously divisive and dangerous contents of the Koran. I am of the opinion that Islam is no friend to Western democratic nations and it is certainly no friend to other religions. It is quite simple if you are a muslim, even a conservative one, you believe that non-believers or infidels are to be converted, subjugated or killed. If you are a moderate then you are simply not a muslim and in the eyes of other muslims an apostate who deserves death. There are a lot of peaceful muslims in our world but the golden thread of its ideology is to create a global caliphate by what ever means and deceit possible. The thoughts of peaceful moderates are irrelevant as they simply do not hold power. This book gives you an in depth analysis to that train of thought and explains why the biggest danger to western democracies is Islam. It is a train of thought that will get you ring fenced by the liberal left and ostracised but it is true. It is happening right now and at the moment we are allowing the caliphate to happen.Read the book.

Don't believe the media or the politicians!
It does what it says on the cover. This book is in no way Islamophobic or racist, even though the Left will no doubt present it as such to avoid having to come face to face with it's contents. It is an unbiased guide as to what the Koran and Hadifs actually says. It also gives the full historical background and context as well as commentary on the Koran by some of the most respect and influential Islamic scolars and clerics. It is a must read for any non Muslim who is interested in what the Koran says and the implications for Western civilisation. I'd go as far as to say that no one can really consider themselves informed on the subject without having read this book.

Excellent read
Excellent book. Very informative and backed up with many many facts. I feel people are slowly waking up to the threat which is islam. I would recommend this book to anybody who wants their eyes opening to an evil, deceitful religion.

This book tells the TRUTH
I thought this book was brilliantly written and it is clear the author really knows his subject.Robert Spencer is an astonishingly gifted man and having read the koran I was aware of the evidence that islam is a not a religion of peace.Robert explains clearly that which cannot be ignored any longer and we must all take heed of this simplified version of the koran.
