I enjoyed reading In Search of the Unknown
I enjoyed reading In Search of the Unknown. I love reading about this subject anyway. It was interesting to read about his beginning adventures which lead him into a life long passion of sasquatch hunting, and it made me wonder how many of us started innocently on a quest when we were younger only to find ourselves totally wrapped up in something we never dreamed we would be so involved in. He tells his story as if he were reliving his past. The boyish pranks were amusing and charming. I only gave it 4 stars because I think the ending could have directed you better into what his future would hold, and the fact that the story was too short. But a good read none the less.

The Life of a Bigfoot Hunter
This book is podcast co-host Bill Jevning's autobiography to date of publishing. It tells about his encounters with Bigfoot as a young man, and his decision to become actively involved in the search for Sasquatches after he was contacted by Rene Dahinden and John Green. This is probably what any serious Squatcher who takes to the field needs to have as a how-to guide. Don't be a clueless "flute player", this is the way to go!

In search of the unknown
It would have been nice had there been a few photos in this book. I gave it three stars because the story seemed to drag with all the detail that was involved in the telling of each episode. Basically there was nothing new in the story since it was true to its title "In Search of the Unknown". It is an entertaining piece but I find no reason to read Iit ever again. Perhaps it is my age, but I found some of the teenage antics relayed by the author a bit annoying. I suppose I expected a bit more in the area of research and less in the way of rambling campfire dialogue.

Interesting History
I found out about the author through the Bigfoot Hotspot Radio program, which is very interesting. This book reveals the history of the author's encounters and experience with the Bigfoot/Sasquatch creatures, as well as his relationships with Rene Dahinden and John Green. I now question John Green's motives in his research, based on his responses to the author's communications on his findings.I recommend this book, as it is as interesting as the guests and topics on the radio show. Another story that helps show that these creatures are really out there.

It's a get to know the author book.
More like an autobiography yet was informative as far as his research history goes. Unlike some paperbacks this book was quality print and paper. Was fun to read, and learn about mr.Jevning, & some new facts about sasquach.

Interesting "First Person" Narrative
An interesting tale of the adventures of the author from his childhood through his army days. There is little suspense in the story but it is a believable story of his experiences searching for Bigfoot in the Pacific Northwest.

Great Bed Time Reading....
Im loving all of Bill's books on his years of BigFoot research. I like the down to earth presentation and the fact that he's not one of those space cadets who talk about the "gentle forest people" and all that nonsense. BigFoot is a BIG and wild hominid that can apparently take your head off with one swipe if you tick it off.

Very interesting!
While there is a great deal of discussion on whether these creatures exist or are they a figment of an overactive imagination, regardless this read is excellent! There are a great many unknowns in the backcountry. Personally, I do believe that these creatures do exist. Excellent read!
