LD Systems Maui 5 Ultra Portable Column PA System with Mixer + Carry Cases

Eagerly awaited delivery of this unit, which was prompt.Very impressed with construction, very solid, easy and quick to assemble.Control knobs are clearly marked, rubberized, easy to use.First impressions are that this will provide our duo with adequate power and volume to perform in local clubs & pubs.We play two electro acoustic guitars through a Xenyx 802 mixer, and the results are pretty amazing.The MAUI 5 provides excellent results without having to use separate speakers, stands, cables.Easy to carry, takes seconds to unpack and construct.My only beef was that the unit came with a continental power plug. A little frustrating having to scramble around for a kettle plug.However, Simply Sound Ltd were very apologetic and soon provided me with the correct cable.Many thanks to them for swiftly correcting this error.Sorry that I am unable to give a technical description of this system, but to sum up, I absolutely love it !

I have used this for solo performance, for open mics and for bands at gigs. An excellent piece of kit that packs up easy. The sound is amazing and every musician should be made to perform through one of these.It's just the best PA around and comparable if not better than Bose and half the price of Bose.

Light weight. Easy to store. Easy to carry. Easy to set up.Great sound.

I use this for pub gigs, both solo and duo. Both with and without backing tracks. Great little piece of kit. Bass boost is so powerful. Never had it more than 1/4 on. Using it for 2 years now.Excellent
