'Bowler's If' Tea Towel

I sent this to a bowling couple and have had a note of appreciation for both the gift and the fitting bowling observations. I have no idea whether the towel will ever appear in the kitchen helping dry the tea things or be stuffed in their kit for cleaning grass from their shoes.My review then is not utilitarian, but a nice example of the use of ebay.uk for those of us in the US with English connections… painless and no postage problems.

I am a lawn bowler aspiring to become a 'skip', so this was a very apt purchase for me. It's too good to use as a bowls towel, so I am planning on getting it framed and hanging it somewhere in our home (if my 'bowls widow' agrees!).

Arrived earlier than expected. Am buying early for Xmas so whilst the material seems sturdy, the tea towel has not been washed yet.Hopefully my Bowls-playing friend will like it!

Nice quality, novelty tea towel for a keen bowler, who also knew the original verse and appreciated the adaptation.

In the style of Rudyard Kipling, this fun poem on a tea towel went down very well with the bowls enthusiast for whom it was purchased and the general membership of our bowls club.Great fun yet carries an edifying message too for those lacking a little in bowls understanding.
