Superb natural Coffee Substitute
I love coffee, and like many millions need to have my daily fix. Unfortunately, recently, I have found that I suffer from painful migraines if I skip a day consuming coffee, such has become my dependency.I order to cease this addition, I carried out my own research and stumbled across this rather excellent coffee substitute by 'BAMBU', that ticks all relevant boxes. It tastes a little like coffee, and there is a discernible difference, but the most important factor is that it has none of the side effects or drawbacks. It is full of natural ingredients, such as organic chicory, Turkish figs, malted barley, wheat, and Greek acorns, and contains no artificial substances. There are no harmful chemicals included in the manufacture and the product is GMO-free.The taste takes some getting used, but after a while grew on me. I still have to convince myself that I'm foregoing the superior taste of coffee, for something more conducive to my health in the long run. You are free to add other ingredients to improve the taste if you wish, and I do add some cinnamon. coconut and dandelion. My headaches have completely gone now and I suffer no adverse consequences any longer. I drink it day and night, and thanks to a low acidity level, never suffer from an upset stomach. No more caffeine to wreak havoc on my body any longer. At only £ 6.44 for a 200gm jar under the 'Subscribe & Save' scheme this is really excellent value. I would wholeheartedly endorse this product to anyone looking for a healthier coffee derivative and substitute. It is now firmly my 'go to' drink and will purchase another jar for my workplace.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Thanks for reading this review. Great flavour
This no caffeine coffee is very tasty and I’m picky when comes to coffee. Give it a go if you want to try something different and you won’t regret it.

Great alternative to caffeine
In my endeavour to reduce my caffeine consumption, this is a very good, similar alternative to coffee. Not particularly cheap as a comparison but a jar lasts months.

Bioforce Organic Bambu Instant Coffee
This is a nice hot drink and a good alternative to coffee. I bought it to have as an evening drink for when it's too late for caffeine. Out of all the coffee alternatives I've tried on Amazon this one is the most coffee like but you can still tell it's not real coffee. It says on the jar to use 1 teaspoon per cup but I think they mean small cups because when I made it in a mug using that amount it was too weak and I had to add another teaspoon so for a mug you need 2 teaspoons for it to be a good strength. Just like coffee I like this black with no sugar. When I tried this with coffee mate it became much more obvious that I wasn't drinking real coffee. This is better than Barleycup but also more expensive so I won't be buying it very often even though it's the most coffee like out of all the coffee alternatives I've tried. I would recommend this to anyone who want's a coffee like drink that can be enjoyed at any time of day.

It's no coffee substitute. But good in its own right
If you're looking for that dark and rich coffee experience, get yourself some coffee. This isn't it.However, makes for a lovely warm drink, helps keeps you satisfied between meals, and gives a third alternative for a warm cuppa (in addition to coffee and tea).Alao works great when added to porridge, also can be drunk cold with some ice and milk (plant based also tastes great), can be added in baking etc.I have been buying this for the last couple of years and will continue tondo so, in addition to my decaf coffee

Surprised by flavorsome drink.
I cannot now drink coffee in any form, even decaffeinated, without getting heartburn eventually. This has left a big gap in reviving drinks for me. When I was a kid, I had the same problem and was advised to use dandelion coffee. However it was totally revolting. Later on, I slipped back to coffee drinking. I read the reviews and people seemed happy with the flavor so I decided to give it a go. Imagine my surprise to find that Bambu is a really pleasant drink with absolutely no side effects like heartburn. I use a level teaspoon and add hot water. The only downside is the price... blimey! £9.50 for a jar. I'm not made of money you know!!

Great, but no coffee flavour
This is described as a coffee substitute and I think this is misleading as it has no resemblance to the coffee flavour whatsoever. It is a caffeine free drink which one makes in the same way as one makes instant coffee and it has a mild, pleasant flavour. I used to drink Barley Cup but this has very little flavour at all but is very much cheaper.

Takes away the coffee craving but unless you have a medical reason not to drink decaff i would not bother
after having to give up coffee including decaff due to acid reflux i did miss my coffee, there is something about coffee i find relaxingso i looked on amazon for a non coffee that would give me the enjoyment i would get from coffee. This non coffee had the best reviews so i thought i would give it a chance.i am glad i did as it does taste alot like coffee.i use to grind my own beans when i drank real coffee before and would buy mostly lily.Although this coffee gives me the feeling of drinking coffee i will not lie and say i enjoy the taste as much as real coffee.the taste reminds me of the budget coffee you can buy from the big supermarkets.it is slightly bitter and very weak.i add a teaspoon of sugar and i use a level teaspoon of this non coffee, anymore and it is to bitter.it tastes like coffee enough to take away my coffee craving but in no way would i ever buy this over say decaff lily coffee if it was not for medical reasons, if you have no medical reason not to drink decaff coffee i would say not to buy this item as you will feel like you are buying a smart price coffee for over £6
