Merlin M832 / M842 / M844 Replacement Remote Control Garage Gate Fob Transmitter by Tecmania

Bought as a replacement for Merlin 430R and works perfectly well. Easy to sync when you follow the instructions provided or online for merlin. Bought a different cheaper one from a different company which said would work with Merlin but didn't. This one does! Would recommend as a cheaper alternative to the original remote.

Took a few mins to program.Merlin 430rGoogle the instructions manual and follow that.You can program the door to turn off and on the light with button 2.

Solid little fob, easy to program and a really good price.

Worked for a couple of days...Then failed to work... Glad I had keys as well !Can't get it going again...Same with another unit that had been used jut once since programming it, then left in a drawer for 2 weeks...It too wouldn't work from more than a couple of feet from the receiver... Then it too died completely.Wrote to supplier - No response.Don't waste your money - Buy 'Real' one, they work for years...

Did not work as a replacement for a merlin m842. Offered an alternative but opted to go for original merlin from another supplier

Item fine, works well but not as described ; no key fob. I am not in need of a key fob, but the item was illustrated with the key fob.
