Rolson 28221 LED Precision Screwdriver

This little tool is very good, and is a LED torch combined with precision screwdriver. It isn't necessarily designed for professional use but I keep it handy at home and it has proven to be perfect for a number of tasks particularly where the lighting has been poor. It recently proved to be just what I needed when repairing some spectacles, but I have also used it when fitting some screws to secure a hard drive in a laptop. The screwdriver bits are stored at one end, with the light and attachment for the bits at the other. There is even a pocket clip fitted, and for the price I think it offers excellent value.

shaft is slippery so when you try to put any pressure on the light is pressed on.apart from that, very good.

Not very impressed by this TBH, the LED throws weird pattern of light all around the point of the screwdriver, but leave the exact centre dimly lit.Also, you need to unscrew the lid and shake out all the bits to change over which is a chore. I hoped the smaller flat blade bit would be OK for undoing the screws on watch straps but it's too big for that.The X-head bits were OK for undoing the smaller screws on a laptop so it's not a total waste of money

Bought it as an add-on item. Took me an age to work out how the light works. For those still not in the know, you have to remove the little white plastic disc from inside of the end cap. The light button should work then. Some rudimentary instructions on the packaging might have helped. Magnet inside to hold the bits in place is a nice touch, although there's every likelihood you'll lose a few when you tip them out of the barrel to find the one you need. So cheap though you couldn't complain about value.

Bought for my other half to take with him when he goes out on-call. Seems to be very handy, especially the light. The other half was really impressed with it. Would definitely buy again!

It's OK but a bit dissappointed to be honest. Should have known for the cost I would not be getting anything particularly flash quality wise ... and I didn't. Opened it, looked at it, put it in a drawer and that is where it will probably stay!

This is great item & can be recommended, but it is not obvious how to fit a new battery, if and when it may be required. ???Please advise. Thank you.

I have not used it yet but it will be very useful.
