Hasbro Transformers Helmet Replica - Soundwave by Modern Icons (Official Licensed Product)

Purchased to complete my 2024 Halloween costume, I was down to the wire with time and materials so I took a gamble. The helmet is great! I had to add a lot of extra foam padding for it to fit snuggly enough to be able to articulate my head and not have it fly off, so if you’re worried about it being too small don’t be. The hatch at the back of the head that opens to take the helmet on and off is a bit weak, you can tell it’s not meant for extra long wear.I would say my only real complaint would be the light and sound features. The quality of the sound and lights are just fine, but you cannot operate one without the other. So no visor light without an out-of-pocket catch phrase. The visor lights also only stay lit for 30 seconds. A light up visor was key to my initial build plan since the event was outdoors and at night, so had I known the visor turns off after a few seconds (and is extremely cumbersome to turn back on with dirt bike gloves on lol) I probably would have skipped the purchase.I waited to paint my build until this arrived and custom blended a color match to the helmet so it all matched correctly. I won the contest!Great piece for collectors but it took a lot of effort, time, focus, and an extra set of hands from my partner to be able to wear it with a full costume.

Looks fantastic, feels great on the head, voice and speaker is phenomenal, and looks fantastic on a shelf. The only complaint I have is that the box came a little rough but other than that everything else was fantastic. 10/10

I was happy with this purchase however I wasn’t happy that it was mailed in the original packaging and the box was damaged in shipping. As a collector the box is important. Also I’m glad I was home to retrieve it since there was no disguising what the product was.

I love this helmet. The box it came in was huge. The actual helmets box is pretty big too. This is NOT a child's helmet. It will accommodate a big noggin. I need additional padding as it pretty much just balances on my scalp.The speaker volume is pretty low, sadly. You won't be able to hear it outside of a quiet environment. Still a great collector's item any Soundwave fan will love.

Soundwave helmet looks very good, no deffects at all, only thing is that the item was mailed in original product box not protected at all. Box was all banged up and some tape was missing, good thing the helmet had some protection in the box otherwise it would've been broken. Also it would've been a traget for porch pirates since you could see what was in the box from far away. Other than the poor shipping, its a nice piece.
