I've use this almost everyday at work and the only problem I've encountered was the plastic dial cover came off once but it clipped right back on and it hasn't happened since (maybe I was a little heavy handed). It's accurate enough and I've used it for quite a number of different applications. For the price you can't go wrong and likewise the quality is very good for the money. The fixings for attaching the DTI, say to a magnetic stand, are a little fiddly and I've come close to loosing one or the other of them but used with care it's okay.

Few DIY CNC'ers its fine
I get accurate and repeatable measurements with this. I'm sure its not as good as a Verdict and Mitutoyo but for someone doing small jobs on a desktop CNC this is more than enough.

Its OK, but I was disappointed with plastic body of gauge....
As first of all: amazon, where is the diameter information???? I bought the DTI thinking its 40mm size gauge but its a MINI SIZE of max. 30mm DIA !!! the second complain is about picture of your instrument which is very confusing because its not the real photo, dont scam people please! Write it in visible place "PLASTIC BODY" wtf??????? everything else, accuracy, quality of mechanism body which is of alloy is OK......at least ;)
