Superb
Fantastic bit of machinery, does exactly what it says on the tin, coffee grinder is a little bit noisy but it's ok, easy to use, and the best bit, for any coffee lovers in a truck or campervan, using a modified or quasi sine wave inverter, this works perfectly, unlike almost every other coffee machine out there. The only downside, I wish I could find disposable paper filters for it, as it's a pain to clean out when living in a truck without running water. I'm sure someone will make some soon tho.

GREAT tasting coffee
GREAT Coffee to bean machine for the price. Grinder is noisy but it does the job. It's wonderful to be able to buy my favourite coffee beans (Segafredo, Illy and Lavazza) and turn them into a great tasting cup of coffee. I won't be using pods or filtered coffee again.Highly recommended.

Do not buy!
I have had two of these machines and both have the same fault after around 4-6 months of moderate use. Water gets blocked and ends up just producing steam. I use filtered water and regularly use a descaling agent but this issue affected my first machine and the replacement machine at about the 4 months mark. I only make 5-6 cups of coffee per week. Clearly a design fault so avoid.

Very Good But Could Be Improved
After having to return to Amazon a defective out of the box DeLonghi Magnifica Evo that cost us £400.00, and after reading many reviews on FULLY AUTOMATIC coffee machines with various problems I gave up and purchased one of these Cuisinart One Cup Grind And Brew Coffee Machines that cost almost a quarter of the DeLonghiAlthough this item is quite basic, it does the job well with a couple minor issues.1 When grinding the beans, the coffee powder tends to spill outwards from the top of the grey plastic container because there is a small gap, so I just hold the container up to the grinder to close the gap while grinding and no more mess.2 When the cup is being filled with hot coffee it tends to get splashed about a bit but not much so I just hold the cup further up to avoid the splashing. Both these minor issues could have easily been avoided when the product was being designed but I guess you could say it's made to a price.I can live with these minor issues (as I make the coffee for her) and my wife finds also the temperature of the coffee is fine too. With a bit of experimenting it can make a really nice cup of coffee, so if you are looking for an inexpensive bean to cup coffee maker I can recommend this item.I gave it four stars only because of the two minor issues.

Makes Great Coffee!
Delighted with this machine. It is ideal if you want a simple, but perfect bean-to-cup coffee. I noted other reviewers commented on inconsistent results, and coffee strengths; this is not something that I have experienced. The grind always seems to be very consistent - although it definitely benefits from tapping down on the work surface to settle the ground coffee. Of course, results will be directly impacted by the quality of beans purchased; I always buy a quality bean - I mean, why spend money on a quality coffee maker only to put cheap beans through it!So far, all positives. Any negatives? The only one is grinding the beans, which can be a little bit messy, with grounds ending up on the drip tray/ work surface. But that is a tiny niggle - and in some way you might even argue the ‘mess’ makes it feel closer to the coffee shop experience!I’d like to find a small enough tamper just to press the ground beans down a little in the filter; so, if you know of something then please let me know?

Fine grind, but spits like crazy.
I don't have much to compare too as it's my first bean grinding machine, but holy hell does it like to spit.It makes a nice grind, very smooth but it frequently likes to spray the grounds outside of the filter lid. Same for brewing the coffee, I usually have to put a paper towel under it because of the residue it spurts out in all directions. It also doesn't come out super hot so always have to microwave the coffee.Honestly I'd probably just save up for a proper espresso machine.

Brilliant one cup coffee machine (Update)
UPDATING Feedback after a few weeks use.Its amazing and I love it. Makes fantastic coffee. Very convenient, and looks beautiful in the kitchen. Brilliant. Would recommend getting a couple extra coffee pods.Little quirk:Yes some coffee grounds will drop from the grinder, what I do is tap the top of the grinder, AFTER its all ground up and the excess dros into the pod. There is a side comparment which says "Open". Press it and an additional pod is in there.Tbh if you want a coffee machine that makes a great cup of coffee, buy this one. Fantastic deal.
