UPDATE: The seller contacted me and offered to help me figure out why the pictures wouldn't play or to send me another frame. I opted for working to get the pictures working. She discovered from the manufacturer that sometimes this happens and to open the pictures in Paint and then to do a save as. I tried this and it works. My pictures now play. It's a really simple frame to us as well. I couldn't be happier and I'm so pleased that Julia would go to all the trouble to help me. I would recommend this frame and this seller. Thank you so much for the hard work and caring enough to help.It came quickly and is an attractive frame. I believe I will need to look into returning it though. I have tried multiple SD cards as well as USB flash drive and either only get the sample photos or it will play only a few of the photo's on the card/drive. I made sure they are JPEG, I made sure they were not large sizes, I made sure that there weren't too many on the card. I have followed the trouble shooting instructions. I can't figure out what is wrong. Waste of money for me so I think it will go back.

I highly recommend that this frame be avoided by everyone, since it is very cheaply made, frequently malfunctions, and is overpriced. I especially suggest that this not be given to anyone who is not tech-savvy, since it will require a fair amount of maintenance and tweaking to maintain even its most basic functionality.At first glance, you can tell that the plastic construction and design are cheap. When I first turned mine on, there was a stuck pixel in the middle of the screen.The interface is very clunky and awkward, and making any kind of change to the configuration takes forever. There appears to be no random mode, so I was forced to randomize the picture names on the computer before loading them on the frame. If you want to change folders, it takes a long time, and is unintuitive.I noticed several issues reading files from both the USB and the SD slot. Sometimes it reads them fine, and at other times it fails to recognize drives. If it fails to recognize them, then it will just revert to displaying the stock photos.

I ordered this for my mother, who has dementia and is in a nursing home. I loaded up tons of pictures on a memory card & she has it on a shelf in her room where she can see it. Every 60 seconds the picture changes. She loves it!The quality of the pictures is just fine for her. The price is very fair. She does not even have to push a button. I keep it plugged in. Every day she watches it and it makes her happy :-) This was the best gift ever!!

Instead of making a scrapbook, I wanted to use a digital frame to display my photos. This frame is perfect. I would advise using a small flash drive so it doesn’t stick out the side. There were 6 photos on the device already for demo but I can’t figure out how to delete those. At least they don’t show up when I display my photos. very nice product.

Great frame, however I did not realize that I had to provide memory card/drive to use.

I had a frame that lasted for several years then suddenly died. I bought this one to replace it. I have nothing bad to say about it. I loaded up the storage card and plugged it in. It has ran through the pics hundreds of times now over the past few months. It has a sharp picture with great color.

Don't waste your money! My bad I bought for my parents for Christmas last year but never got around to setting it up for them. Just tried so I could finally give it to them and when I opened the box I found scratches on the frame so it wasn't even new and tried to load photo's and it won't work. My fault for waiting as long as I did but I purchased a new model not used and broken!!!

I thought it wouldn't matter that I bought the cheapest digital photo frame available but I was wrong. This frame does not give you an option for random scans and it starts at the beginning every time you turn it on so you see the same photos over and over but never see anything farther down the file. Spend the extra money and get a frame with the option for random.
