Excellent quality keyboard for gaming for the price
I'm somewhat amazed and impressed that you can get a keyboard with this level of build quality and amount of features for such a low price. Other companies like Logitech or Razer will charge 3-4 times for the price for what would be the same keyboard to my eyes. This is the second time I've bought a keyboard from this company, and this is a nice upgrade from the previous, older version that I bought several years ago, with better battery life, a tighter, more secure USB-C connector, and excellent-feeling switches. The Gateron Red switches feel great, and are excellent for gaming. I'm not the most discerning mechanical keyboard snob or enthusiast out there, but this keyboard fulfills all of my needs for a low price, and I don't have any complaints.

Good keyboard, but kind of cheap switches
UPDATEI replaced the blue switches with box black because I didn’t like the clicky-ness and that went ok, but when I reused the blue switches in another board, I had a lot of problems with the south-most pin bending or even flattening if I was not extremely careful about lining up the pins. The metal on that pin seems really flimsy. It doesn’t affect the operation of the board if you never take the switches out, but this is a hot-swappable board, so taking the switches out and putting them back in is expected. I’ve worked with maybe a dozen other switches from various manufacturers and these are the most fragile.Original reviewThis is a review written just after unboxing and using for a day. I got the white Shadowfox with blue switches. I got it because I wanted a hot swappable keyboard to try out different switches and keycaps. I’m not a gamer or an enthusiast, so my review is mostly for just general use with a variety of devices including Windows, Apple, and mobile.1. Good build quality. Everything is tight and lines up. The plastic case seems to be good quality and well finished.2. I like that the risers rubberized so the keyboard is very stable even at an angle.3. Everything seems to work: A. All the keys light and the shine through is bright. The keys feel well made and there are no cloudy or uneven areas. B. Works on both Mac and Windows. The win/mac switch works as it should. (Note: The keycaps are for windows, but a small legend on the keys for Apple Command, Option, Control would have been nice). C. Bluetooth connects to my iPad. (It’s easy to figure out FN+Z or X or C, but it’s a little clunky because when I turned the keyboard off I had to press the Bluetooth button to reconnect.) D. Wired worked ok, but I had a problem with one of my hub ports like someone else had. I’d plug the keyboard in and it would just charge but not connect. I put it in another port and it worked fine. I don’t know if it’s just the hub, or a problem with the cable. E. Blue switches are loud. That’s just personal preference, but I am going to replace them with something quieter. F. LEDs are bright and the pre-sets are ok. It’s easy to cycle through. G. I Haven’t tried the software. I probably won’t though as I really don’t need that much customization. H. Battery seems good so far. I’ll update if there are any long-term issues.I tried removing some keys and switches and tried the three extra included switches. Everything worked well (the switches are very tight in the plate and it took a little effort to get them out.) Like I said I wanted to try a keyboard with blue switches for a while but the clickyness is kind of louder than I’d like.Only things I didn’t like are with the on/off and the win/mac switches. They work ok, but seem a little loose/cheap and rattle just a little when you shake the keyboard. They’re also right next to each other so it’s easy to slide the wrong one if you aren’t careful.Overall it’s a pretty nice keyboard. Everything seems to be working as it should out of the box and seems to be a good keyboard for the price. I’d recommend if you want a keyboard to try out different switch and key configurations, or need a compact keyboard for travel or mobile devices. The 60% configuration is a little tight for normal office work—I think it’s an option only if you have very little desk space.I also think it also looks pretty good. The lighting is bright and clear and the case is plastic, but solid and clean looking.

Is the best keyboard ever
I have bought quite a few mechanical keyboards on Amazon, but the KEMOVE Snowfox DK61 is the most valuable one. It is a surprisingly well-crafted, well-thought-out, highly customizable, and quite unique product. The keyboard's performance is as expected with its red switches, there is nothing abnormal. The keys on this keyboard are "hot-swappable", which means they are just sockets, so it's quite easy to replace certain keys with other keys if you want to.It has RGB backlighting and PBT keycaps, which is a high-grade plastic and the best you can get on a mechanical keyboard. This keyboard also allows for multiple types of connectivity (wired, 2.4G wireless, and Bluetooth). The keyboard comes with a USB-C cable for wired connection (thankfully not a mini USB connection), and a magnetic 2.4G encrypted dongle. It's very easy to set up, just connect it in the way you prefer. After reading the manual, I noticed that many of the keyboard shortcuts are similar to other backlit keyboards. Also, in the manual, it will mention that when you hold down the FN key + another key, something will happen. There are many different lighting effects, including a simple "constant light" function. Yes, you can change the lighting effects and other things using keyboard shortcuts. The keyboard has several RGB and single-color lighting options that you can enable with either the driver or combination keys. I suggest you hold the file that comes with the keyboard because it will show you the custom combination keys that allow you to adjust macros, lighting modes, speed, and brightness, even switch between Windows and Mac-style layouts. It does have a driver that you can get from the KEMOVE website, but in most cases, you can use its built-in hardware features to get almost all the functionality you would get with the software driver. Please remember that this is not just downloading a driver, it is a utility that is used to adjust all keyboard settings. This utility makes things easier!

Bang for the buck
High-quality, smooth sounds great, and creamy for the gateron yellows. I still need to try the wireless mode but based on reviews it's great. The cable could be better if it's long but it's better to buy a custom one anyway. And it's hot-swappable. So many colors for the RGB.

Promising board but falls short on weird quirks
I really like the form factor on this board, as well as the features. But unfortunately it falls short on a bunch of weird quirks, which hopefully would be fixable with software updates.Firstly lets just list the pros and cons:Pros:+ Hot swappable+ Mod (fn) on right hand+ Physical switch for win/mac+ USB C+ Braided cable+ BT 5.1Cons:- 90 degree angle on the usb C cable (just why?!)- The software is crap- Unreliable on wireless connection (will get back to this)- Quick activation of Windows mode with FN+WIN really annoying while on MacSo to explain a bit further:I do also experience the issues some others have been talking about, where on Bluetooth connection, they keyboard simply just freezes on some random letter, and stops responding to any input at all. The only way to fix this is either to wait a longer period (sometimes it just pops back to life), or just to turn the keyboard off and on again. I noticed this issue both while the cable was plugged in and not, I did however find that just plugging the cable in does not automatically change the connection to wired, you need to also shut down the bluetooth connection, otherwise it will just charge via the cord, but still run over Bluetooth (and freezing continues). Hopefully this is something that can be fixed via internal software update or something.. I have only experienced this on my Mac, although I have never used Bluetooth connection on my Windows machine, therefore I kinda assumed it has to do with the wireless mode. The other thing I find super annoying is that when I'm on Mac, I use CMD + Arrows to jump words instead of characters in text (a MacOS thing I guess), but to access the arrows you need to hold down FN, which is fine, the problem is however that the "left alt" on Mac (WIN on this keyboard) activates the "quick windows" mode (same as if you flip the switch behind to windows mode), which remaps CMD and ALT. So I need to hold down left alt (win) BEFORE I press FN to access the arrows. Now I'm kinda used to it (muscle memory), but i sometimes still accidentally activate windows mode on the keyboard doing this, and it always takes me some extra time to notice this since I never look down on my keys to notice this (the WIN button lights up red when this is activated).Last point is the included software. I haven't tried it on Windows, but I tried it on Mac. There was no official download for it but I managed to find a beta of it in Kemoves support forum but I quickly uninstalled it again seeing how useless it was, I was kinda hoping to be able to easily change colors of specific keys but it proved to be very difficult (not easy as selecting a button and a color like in Logitech software). Now I've just settled on the presets which are programmed in to the keyboard...I really want to like this board, but the freezing on wireless connection really bugs me out, and If I could somehow deactivate the possibility to activate WIN mode with win+fn would be great...If you put $100 or more on a keyboard, with the Kemove in it's current state, I'd suggest you look elsewhere sadly...

Good mechanical hot swappable keyboard
This keyboard offers solid build quality and typing experience at a very reasonable price point. As one of the few out there it's fully hot swappable with other mechanical switches, not optical ones, which is currently far less common. Furthermore, build quality is excellent for plastic, no creaking or flexing, keycaps are made out of pbt and are pleasant to touch, legends are evenly illuminated. Stabilizers also do their job well, which is a pleasant surprise after coming from roccat vulcan 122, which, in my unit, had wobbling spacebar. What's a cherry on top is having 3000mah battery which makes it useful for occasional couch gaming and makes for a cleaner look during office use and switching between the devices. Provided cable is standard usb c one-nothing too fancy, but not flimsy either, albeit a little stiff. In the package there is also added wired keycap puller, switch puller, as well as 4 different switches to try out. What would make this keyboard better is a little brighter illumination, but you can always buy some pudding keycaps to make the most of it. Software is another point that lacks in some areas- it would be better if there was none at all, but unfortunately you need it for changing some of the settings, the example being setting illumination of all keys to the color I want. The keyboard itself lets you change only basic ones like changing the effects of illumination, brightness, but somehow for setting static illumination you need soft.Overall I reccomend buying this keyboard, as it delivers outstanding quality and possible future modding for a product that competes under 90 euros price tag.

Brilliant!
Click, click.... I love it. The option to manually set to Mac or Windows, is amazing. Battery as well not to mention the colour choices. Downside though, on Mac, if you are not using for a while it turns off, which would not be a problem, although sometimes its lazy to find the connection but nothing major. I would advise the future buyer to get a hand rest pad as well since it is on its on a bit tall.

Great piece of device that would deserve 5 stars if the software was ready.
This is my first mechanical keyboard, very happy with the product, but the software is not on par with the device itself. It says that the software is in beta version, and I hope it will be done soon, I'll gladly give it 5 stars when it is finished. RGB seems quite good, not a fan in general of RGB, wanted to fix a white backlight on the software, but currently I'm not able to do so. Besides the software I'd say that everything is solid, can't find any faults, especially not for a casual user!
