I Was concerned about some people reviews. This lock works perfect! Easy to install and the app works fine. If you complain about opening an account for using the lock, you must buy a tradicional lock instead of a smart one. This is a very cheap hi-tech solution for locking your valuables. Of course don't expect that this lock will protect your stuff from a robber with a hammer or a strong kick...

The combo lock is clumsy to operate when installed .I was able to swap in a biometric lock with some modifications. Just extend the cut out for the locking pin and add two spacers to extend the latch.

I purchased this to replace a keyed lock on my “tech lock box” in the house. Now I don’t have to worry about losing keys or having the kids trying to tamper with it.Yes, my kids do that … and I’ve tried locks that have the spring doors on the keyhole like the car locks of the 70s and 80s. Oh, they messed the lock up, but never got in!Enter this bad boy:Very easy to install and doesn’t take long to charge. You can actually use one of those small USB battery banks to charge it, if need be.You can store multiple fingerprints or, if you prefer, you can unlock with your phone. Turn the lock clockwise when the LED is green, open up the secured area and get what you need, secure the area, then turn the lock counter-clockwise to lock it and you’re done.There is a battery charge indicator on the front that tells you approximate charge levels when you unlock it.Overall, I love it. I just wish I would have found it sooner.

The media could not be loaded.  See the video. I think it might work on some different kind of material but on my actual wood cabinet it did not work. It either keeps turning and easily unscrews itself or doesn’t turn at all.

It takes just under one second for it to read my fingertips, so it isn’t the fastest, but it does exactly what I need. I highly recommend it!

While, I was able to make the lock work, I don't think I can recommend it. I read the instructions, which are a bit cryptic and seems to have been written or translated by someone who had not actually used the lock. Then I downloaded the app "eSmartLock" from Google Play, I noticed that the password rules had that were mentioned in reviews here and on Google Play indicated that the password was less than secure, the rule is 8-20 characters only numbers and letters. Having used a lot of somewhat less than user friendly apps, I was able to register and add a couple of fingerprints, the app also lets you set up groups of users and friends. Apparently you only need the app to set up the lock fingerprints. The connection to the lock is via bluetooth and is a bit tenuous at times. Once the lock is set up, you can install it in a drawer, it comes with three different lock bars and the bar attaches with a nut and washer. The lock attaches to the drawer with another nut. Pretty simple if you already have the right sized hole or if you are drilling a hole for the first time. The lock does not move when you unlock it, it just releases to allow you to turn it 1/4 of a turn to the right to open it. When you turn it back 1/4 turn to the left, it just snaps back to the locked position. The lock indicated I would need to charge it fully before using, but it seemed to be fully charged when I received it. I did connect the USB C to USB A cable to charge it, but the charge level lights indicated a full charge right away. The other indicator light on the lock is blue to connect via bluetooth to the app, red when it is not reading a fingerprint that will open the lock, and green when the lock is opened. You will have to make a judgment on whether the lock is worth the effort, it will lock a wood cabinet drawer, but you may have to deal with a little frustration to make it work. I have no idea how long it will be before the lock needs to be charged, but based on the length of the cable you might want a longer USB C to USB A cable and may want to have a power bank if no outlets are convenient.

Easy to install. Perfect for what I needed. App is easy to use and set up was ok. The app offers options for different user fingerprints it's nice Reader is a little temperamental but it works. Sometimes it goes on the first touch and other times it takes 2 or 3 but it always opens I would buy again and probably will for other projects. Thanks.

Works , but hard to program and get app to talk to the unit, very disappointed in it , battery life not great and not dependable

The media could not be loaded.  Forte aprire col dito e gestire tutto dalla app, peccato però che ho sbagliato la lunghezza per l'armadietto del lavoro mio.Mi è toccato comprarne un'altro della giusta misura più lungo, l'altro lo tengo per magari la cassetta delle lettere o altre applicazioni future.

As soon as you pick this lock up from the box, you notice the weight. It is mainly metal construction and rotates smoothly. It is easy to fit, and I love the way the locking pin slowly retracts upon the lock opening. No clunky solenoid, just a smooth motor mechanism.

Teilweise sehr kompliziert diese Hierachieebenen Verwaltung, habe ich nicht wirklich durchgeblickt.Schön ist das einfache Anlegen von Fingerabdrücken, welches übersichtlich von statten geht.Leider läßt sich der Benutzer (im Idealfall gleich mit mehreren Fingerabdrücken) nicht vorübergehend/kurzfristig sperren oä. Man kann einen Benutzer nur löschen und muss ihn danach bitten wieder seine(n) Finger einzulesen. Das währe aber hilfreich wenn man seinem Nachbarn nur mal für den Urlaub "aktiv" schalten möchte... Aufgrund der Einschränkung hab ich es zurückgesendet und hoffe das dieses Feature irgendwann mal kommt.
