Great lighting for theater steps!
Super simple installation. Made to fit into a standard electrical outlet box. Screw fittings match up perfectly.The selectable color temperature option is great. I set mine at 5k, which I would rate as “pure white”. No blueish tint at all.An LED rated dimmer will dim these lights all the way down to “off”. The lights have ample light in their full on position.Very well built. I couldn’t have made a better choice.

Works as advertised
This was a great replacement for my night stairway lighting and worked as advertised. It was easy to install and is prettier than the original lighting.

One Light keeps coming on without any noticeable motion.
I have installed four of these lights on my basement stairs. Each light does a good job of sensing actual motion and I like the light brightness on the steps. However, one light keeps coming on and times out just like it does when it detects real motion. Then comes on again only a few seconds after it went out. It does this all day long and all night long. I looked at the support page for the manufacturer and there is nothing that speaks to this problem specifically. I have tried resetting by powering off and powering back on. No change. At times, it does go for more than a few seconds, but not for hours at a time or until real motion happens on the steps or the room.Really frustrating when I sleep in a bedroom in the basement and the light keeps going on and off.

Nice look
These work well except sometimes one of them just turns on randomly but only one and the same one so it creeps me out a little sometimes. There must be an issue with it somehow, because it’s only 1 of the 4.

Buyer beware. Bad product with even worse customer service
Buyer beware. If I could assign negative stars, I would. This product shows it has a five-year warranty that no one wants to honor.You will get absolutely no customer Support on the product.This product stopped working one and a half years after purchase. I called the manufacturer, ASD, only to be told they don’t sell directly to Amazon. They sell directly to Smart Lighting Solutions, who ASD says manages the Amazon store. I called Smart Lighting Solutions only to be told they did not sell the product on Amazon and they incorrectly listed as the seller on Amazon. I then called Amazon and was told they have contacted the seller and I will hear from the seller within 48 hours. I asked to be provided the name of the Seller and the Amazon representative refused to provide it to me. Of course, the Amazon representative also said that I could purchase a new light.

Needed extra lighting
These lights are perfect for extra light going up our steps. My husband wired them easy to do. I love them.
