Ash no more!
Powerful ash vac. Bigger than I expected but so what, I needed to clear out the understairs cupboard anyway! I used this for the first time yesterday and it's great! The hose and power cord are long enough to reach my stove and it's very powerful. Pleased with my purchase!

First use
it works fine until the filter clogs up then it stops sucking?. I know that sounds pretty obvious, but I expected it to last longer before filter cleaning was needed the dust bag didn't have a lot in it. Therefore it's ok but it's not great.

Seems to be a better motor design that the Pifco one
Seems to be a better motor design that the Pifco one, easy to assemble & use, ashes do get stuck in the tapered nozzle but they can be broken up by a gloved hand or tapped against the grate to push through. Very handy bit of kit.

Great Vacuum
This is one of the best bits of kit I have bought. It keeps the house a bit cleaner rather than carrying the ashes to the back door. Easy to use. I would definitely recommend and wish I had bought it years ago.

Looked at the reviews on this ash vac and was quite reserved whether to buy it but I am so glad I did it cleans out our wood burning fire a treat, we only burn wood in the fire so wouldn't know whether it would be any good for coal burning fires.
